The 'Pro racing' war cry of Amaron calls out to this ingrained passion for racing in young and old alike, and is all set to awaken and energize the dormant racer in every individual with the Amaron Karting Challenge '10. This is a first of its kind initiative, propelled by Amaron's worship of the sport, and its desire to identify, nurture and promote young racing talent in India.

Kart-racing is considered the best starting point for anyone considering a future in racing, and Amaron believes that it's just the exposure our kids need, to pursue racing as a serious sport or jumpstart a possible career in racing. The entry is therefore completely free of cost, in order to encourage participation.

The Amaron Karting Challenge will be abuzz with highly charged kids in the 12-16 age group, geared up to make it to the next level in the EVO AE1 karts with the latest version of Subaru 4 stroke engines. The event will be held in 9 cities across the country, and the best racer will be enrolled in the Amaron Scholarship Program with a scholarship of up to Rs 10L and will be trained by ace coach Akber Ebrahim of MECO Motorsports to represent Team Amaron in the Rotax Max 2-stroke karting series.

The winners of the Amaron Scholarship Program will move up another rung to have their skills honed at India's highest level racing series F Rolon/F Swift. Those who excel and demonstrate a passion for racing, will be sponsored by Amaron for an international scholarship, if they commit to racing internationally.

New this year is the support races for colleges and organizations. From this year on we give people in every age category the opportunity to race. The teams who want to compete need to register in groups of four. The drivers with impressive track times will get the opportunity to compete in the VW Polo Cup test drives for the 2011 season.

Apart from the ample scope that the Karting Challenge promises for aspiring racers, it is an event that is essentially rooted in the innate love for racing in every person. So whether youre on the tracks ready to get to the next level, or having the stadium quake with your cheering, this event is sure to egg on that passion within you. The day will be packed with loads of interesting things for every person, no matter which side of the fence youre going to be seated on. While kids get to see for themselves if they are as good on the tracks as they are with the joysticks, parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts may get their share of thrills from seeing their youngsters as the future Narain Karthikeyans of the country.
