alright i have to confess...I'm not a great fanof will smith...and when Rajeev asked me to go for the press conference and te party i was the least bit excited.... But there's somethign about this guy...I mean after having been to a zillion press conferences..and seen many of our so called "stars" throw tantrums and act like they're gods gift to mankind...it was so cool to see this dude...just Be himself..have fun....just chill have no airs about himself... I don't know if this "i'm one of you" was an act...if it was..it was very well done...but the fact is..Will smith is such a chilled out guy. And i love the sense of humor..and the fact that he's at complete ease... Of course...we made sure we recked the press conference by dancing with the guy on stage....and the security guys were sooooooo angry...but who cares! He was....

Will any of this matter if....

I was watching the news last night and no matter what channel I switched to, or even some american television, they were all discussing one thing and one thing alone- The bird flu- and how it single handedly has the power to generate a death toll that could blow way out of proportion. And the saddest thing, if this virus manages to mutate human to human, we're not prepared.We're just not prepared. Like Anthrax, Sars, Small Pox and so many other Pandemics that we've seen over the years,this one too raises that one question-In the event that this happens, and if some disease does manage to take over every counrty, then will everything we do, everything we've achieved so far, everything we crave for, will any of that matter anymore? Our politicians, our celebrities and their constant need to appear on Page 1, our celebrated musicians and artists....

Strangers in the night.....

It's strange...you could be in a room full of strangers...a party that you've just walked into...or a class room where you don't know anyone just yet....and then suddenly.....for some strange reason...you seem to get drawn to a certain somebody....you don't know their name..what they do for a living...and even with zero insight into their character...there seems to be something that draws you towards them... Although, most often, this strange encounter...remains just that...a strange encounter...very few times do we tend to act on it....very rarely do we muster up the courage to actually go accross, pass a faint smile...or even give out any kind of signal to convey a certain amount of mutual admiration... in fact annoyingly enough...our entire being fails us in those moments...and while what we really want to do is make eye contact....instead our eyes look away each time we sense our look is being reciprocated...and....

Irony & Denial

I never really understood the idea behind keeping a diary. It seemed fundamentally wrong to me as an idea...then again..thats the the thing about life....it's sometimes a blend of irony and denial... We live our entire lives, guarding those pages...writing in them, things that are meant for us and us alone...but somewhere ..i think each of us....tries to picture a face reading through our scribbles....reacting, appreciating..no matter how much we deny it. the fact is, some part of us ...is an exhibitionist afterall, no matter how many secrets the diary contains..and no matter the countless thoughts it holds...the fact is, we write it because one part of us...wants it to be read... Paras ....

Aren't you bloody tired of all these gorwn ups trying to tell you what to do.. Aren't you tired of these "seen it alls" trying to tell you how to live your life? Well I am! So when we first discussed the idea of a segment which was pretty much- Of the youth - by the youth- and for the youth- I was super duper excited! So now besides just rubbing shoulders with the Divas from tinsel town at premiers for Entertainment tonight....I get to hang out with all my friends from college...play pranks.... go hook up with hotties on campus (hehe! wink) all on the pretext of work! yippie!!! We shot the first story today...it was fun going to campus...and doing stuff like this in Bombay. And everyone from college has so much to share! So Wazzzzup is our space alright...the naughty, crazy, whacky,....

The Perfect Personal's Ad!

I love the fact that I'm by far the perfect Personal's Ad! I mean think about it. Here's a boy who's like absolutely charming, funny, witty, well spoken, dare I add- Terribly good looking and so well cultured! And if you thought that wasn't enough, the boy doesn't smoke, drink or kill animals in the name of a snack! It's called a vegetarian diet! I mean really, I'm such a catch! If we were in one of those tribal times where the tribe chief gives his daughter to the stranger who comes in with gold, lets just say I'd never spend a lonely night in the tent! Sometimes one wonders though, I've had so many of my friends who tell me "C'mon Paras, Get a life!" and sometimes when I have to wait, and wait, and wait AND wait for some starters at a party that aren't an....
