Heat. Mountains. And other thoughts.
I can truly relate to the agonies of those reeling under the simmering heat of North India summer. The first time I came to Delhi I did not like it at all. More so for the fact that I took the slowest train from Kolkata and the landscape changed slower than ever thus giving me and all those looking across their windows a chance to actually feel the change from lush greenery to arid landscape and at times acrid air. Trust me I understand how bad it feels. Two scathing summers in Delhi and my understanding has been definitive. And it's the heat pangs thoughts that invariably linger whenever I reach out to switch off the fan at night, here (In Assam it's been raining off and on for sometime now don't need the fan exactly) So what has northeast got? It's the weather. Let me....
