I have always noticed that when there is a road accident, the car driver is blamed. No matter whose fault it is (and most of the times, the person crossing the road or walking down is at fault) - the driver is accused of rash driving and "accordingly" lynched. Well, that was just an allusion. When a woman is "assaulted", it is ALWAYS and I repeat - always the fault of the man. Thus, when any crime against women is reported, it is immediately concluded that it is the "man" who has committed the crime. Be it a little nudge in a busy and crowded bus or a shove in a teeming discothèque - the man is the culprit. No, people - please realize that there can be no innocent or accident nudges or pushes. There is always a motive behind such acts. Wonder what motives....

Instance One - I had fallen ill once when I was 8. My father accosted a doctor to write a prescription for me. My mother got medicines for me. And when I got well, I, very innocently, asked my mother, " Where did you get the medicine from?" She, very nonchalantly, replied, " From the drug's store". I was shocked and I inquired myself - Was I on drugs for all these days? Instance Two - When I went to the boarding school in the hills, I knew that a whole new world is opening up. There was a surprise in store for me - not only was I to find all of us geographically higher but was also to find some students "higher" than usual. It was quite shocking to find young boys and girls doing drugs -both soft and hard. The reasons were numerous and the....
