Half empty or half full?

In matters of state there is no scope for the half-full version of the glass. And those who choose to look at it like this do so at their own peril. Diseases afflicting the state are difficult to diagnose in the beginning but easy to cure. Conversely when they can be identified by everyone there is hardly anything that can be done about them. The Madhya Pradesh government would be better advised to treat the recent discovery of an arms factory in the state capital as cancer. Also the state police would be doing a great service to the nation if it concentrated on finding out how it did not come to know of a Naxalite- operation that by its own admission was being run for the past five years. The Union government also needs to have a closer look at all the 'islands of peace' in the country. The....

I don't know the religion of the model for Aheda Zanetti's burkini that has already been picked up by more than 9000 people in Australia. From the slides that are available on the net she looks great in Zanetti's invention. One can only guess about the religion of those who have picked these Burkinis meant for Muslim women who can not wear a bikini when they want to go for a swim. The road to integrate Muslim women with the Australian society perhaps passes through the beautiful beaches. The Burkini, again as per Aheda, is better suited for protecting the body from the sun and is also meant for those who want to show some modesty on the beach. Reason enough for me to think why non Muslims can also try this bikini alternative. But the way this Burkini story is being told one gets a feeling that it....
