As I walked on the cobbled sidewalks in Buenos Aires, admiring the enormous barbecues grilling "parrilla"* (the national dish), digging into the medium-done "Bife-de-Lomo" with chimichuri sauce at Recoleta Village opposite Eva Peron's cemetery (beef steak was never better), Gloria Gangte was busy cooking mostly aloo paranthas or yellow dal and rice.
