Bothers me that the attack, if we can call it that, and everything that followed in terms of words, discussions primetime newsrooms, statements by the political class....all of it is so familiar, repetitive and empty. Disquieted, I re-read it and found that, in a way, she was right. The sentiments I had expressed echoed hundreds of blogs, articles and opinion pieces written in the past few weeks.
