CNN-IBN Book CLUB: Books Buzz
My pick of the week has got to be Bad Science by Dr Ben Goldacre (he's also got a regular column in the Guardian). As always, he pulls off being hilarious and witty, while mounting blistering critique on quacks, health frauds and the (unsuspecting!) media that lap it all up, while always pushing for the quick-fix or next big headline. Also exciting, the latest Harry Potter movie is upon us. Also, this is a good time, to dust off all the older Potter titles and take a walk down memory lane. Better yet, after watching the movie, go back to The Deathly Hallows. I'm reading about the Twilight-Harry Potter audience cross-over, and I'm not sure....

He was in constant pain 24/7, an acquaintance or one-time friend writes in a UK paper...He was emaciated, skeletal even and there were no traces of food in his stomach, just pills, says a tabloid. Blogs by recovering anorexics commiserate for a possible eating disorder... What do we really know about the late King of Pop? And how much has been said about the strange things he did to his face... to himself? Did he suffer from those skin disorders? Was his nose finally just hanging on by a shred of tape? More importantly,....
