More about Ashwin Sanghi
Ashwin Sanghi is the author of two fiction bestsellers, Chanakya’s Chant—a historical thriller that delves into contemporary politics, and The Rozabal Line—a theological thriller that examines the ancient connective tissue between world religions. The Rozabal Line was released in India by Tata-Westland in 2008 and went on to remain a bestseller for several consecutive months. Chanakya’s Chant was released in February 2011 and shot into every bestseller list of India, including number one on India Today's bestseller list within a few weeks. In June 2011, UTV Motion Pictures announced its intention to make a movie based on the novel. Ashwin is a businessman and holds a master’s degree from Yale. He schooled at the Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai, and thereafter completed a BA from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. He's also pursuing a doctorate in Creative Writing. Writing is his passion and, in his own words, he's "an entrepreneur by day and novelist by night". He lives in Mumbai with his wife and son. Each week, Ashwin takes a look at current events and presents his take on them via a witty comic strip entitled ‘Chanakya’s Chant of the Week’.
