Agenda before the New BJP Government

BJP won the elections on issues like price rise and terrrorism. Important issues - but, can the new government do anything that can contain the twin cancer affecting this country? HARDLY.

The two issues above will remain the core concerns of the voter in the days to come and will definitely will be issues on which the next elections will be held.

The one area where this government can do wonders is translating the central government's social sector initiatives in the state. There is enough budgetary allocations and if the BJP government can ensure that it touches the last (wo)man, then they can start dreaming of a second term.

Instead of trying to recreate a Bangalore in Hubli or Bijapur, and try to attract IT industries in each city, the new government should conciuosly build a new industry in each district and have completary core comptency take over. That will create a large number of jobs and also change the face of Karnataka.
