Karnataka Elections & it's aftermath
Question asked by CNN IBN is valid question. It is very difficult to state that will this election victory revive fortunes of BJP during 2009 General Elections? May be or May not be? Each time election is lost by either of the two national parties, each time this question is asked. I suppose in politics no one can be ruled out. Yes, one thing is certain that the communal tag, tagged by Congress and friends will not work anymore.
I personally feel it is still 50-50 chances of BJP coming to centre. It is not fair to talk of election 2009, as many more state elections are still to take place in 2008. All the elections are really big onces. Even if Congress wins 2 out of 3 states in next coming State elections, same questions will come up. Same CNN IBN will ask how will effect centre. Basically, it is not right to state what will happen in future and specially in Indian Political System. One thing I have learnt is that it is not appropriate to underestimate a party whether it is BJP or Congress. But yes as supporter of BJP I would certainly want them to come to power. But I have simple say "MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN".
As far as congress is concerened. They have only one strategy, that is Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. They have no other motto in life. I feel that if Sonia and Rahul Gandhi are removed they will get much more seats then what are getting now. Being a Son of Rajiv and Sonia does not bring votes. This is new INDIA and unfortunately congress has not changed.
Only way congress can come out of the mess is that BJP again goofs up. Which they are capable of goofing up again.
But I sincerely hope that INDIA is ruled only by 2 parties. It is a distant dream. But I can atleast dream if nothing else.
