When Dr Raman singh took over as CM 5yrs back from Ajit jogi everybody thought now is the time for a clean CM because Dr singh had a relatively clean image and verybody thought he will deliver what has been promised. But a person like Dr Raman singh should realise that he was also doing the same thing which most other politicians did and there was no difference and he has to live up to the promise,but unfortunately it was not to be. His promise of 24hrs electricity,JERSY COW for every household and many such schemes came a cropper and nothing was delivered even to the extent of Rice and salt at a reasonable price all fell through.On top of that the SALWA JUDHUM also created history of sorts.The supreme court came in between and he had to eat humble pie ..because no Government can afford to arm its civilian.Probabaly Dr singh hasnt read the constitution properly and he is answerable to the nation .If his Government cannot protect its people he doesnt have any right to continue in office . The maoist menace is continuing even till today and there is no solution in sight .It clearly shows NAXAL problem is more than a law and order problem and it seems he doesnt have an answer for that .This is where Ajit Jogi a shrewed Politician he is will take advantage of the situation.Apart from that the dalits,Adivasis who form a bulk of the vote will defintly like sombody from their community will fill the gap and AJIT JOGI even if he is riding on the wheel chair is going to make lot of difference and Cong high command will not be able to ignore him and will be doing at their own peril.
