Outraged!

That is the word that describes the environment around us and the other the part of the country, the unfortunate incident of Sunday 17th December not only led to anger but also woke up sleeping establishment, common man NGO's, all of them coming together to demand justice for the victim, social media also played a major role in waking up conscious of the people and bringing them together and people are determined to the get the government to act. All this outrage is fine but this leave a lot of question to be answered will this protest lead to any strong measures or prevent such incident or will lead change in policing in Delhi or will lead more security for women. Yes there are problem with system but we can't ignore the problem in our society, every time such incident happen and media highlights it every one is....

60 years of Parliament: some thoughts

After a long gap I am back with my blog. What forced me to return to blogging is the occasion and the time we are in today. As we celebrate 60yrs of our parliament I as a ordinary citizen feel proud that we as voters elect our MP's but it feels really sad and frustrating when the same MP's do not live up to our expectation and the very institution of parliament is attacked. I always had keen interest in politics when economic reform were introduced in 1991 I was to young to understand the effect of those reform but I feel the life we are leading today is due the reform that government of the day and parliament passed it. I feel sad when parliament is disrupted or when there is misconduct by MP. But It has to be emphasized that the Parliament as an....

Metro in Noida: Such a long journey

Like many others, I had been waiting for the day the Metro rolls out to Noida. Finally the D-day arrived when it was flagged off on Thursday, marking the start of a new journey. Since morning I was restless, waiting eagerly for my shift to end and take the Metro. But Murphy's was at work, and I was able to leave office an hour later than my regular time. However, a kind colleague understood my predicament and agreed to drop me off to the station. And all the way to the Metro station, a five-minute ride from the office, the conversation revolved around the Metro. I reached the Botanical Garden Station, where the building is still under construction, in no time.
