The pals of our time

If you thought of PayPal as a registered trademark of the US, think again. Many moons prior to the advent of the first digital transaction, it has bee widely available in every nook and corner of our vast nation. Beating the dog and the diamond, it is the best friend upon jumping a red light. The savior of last resort to fix a water-less tap and power-less bulb. The 'stamp of god' on every birth (and death) certificate. Yes, pals are paid at every juncture - to do the things they shouldn't do, and to not do things they should. Pay-pals continued jumping (with joy) higher hurdles until they hit the creaking ceiling of the Commonwealth games (read shames) stadium. An ensuing revolution in the small park of Jantar Mantar marked the second-innings for the new pal on the block - The Lok-Pal. Now don't get me wrong here,....
