Why so serious?
So I am starting to get a little sick of all the slandering I hear against the media. Most people who meet me, sense an opportune moment to slowly launch into an indignant tirade against the miseducation of the English news and those who deliver it. It usually starts at the beginning of a cocktail party with a benevolent "Oh you look so different on air!" (I really hope so man), and then gradually inches towards "What's your take on the Government /what is that crystal ball saying tonight about tomorrow?" Or, and this is a diamond "Give us the rrreal scoop babe, wink wink!".
We do give you the real story and I promise I wasn't lying earlier just because I was in a suit!
The conversation then normally takes a turn and starts from there, degenerating in to "Actually, I'm not....
