Governor for President's rule in UP

New Delhi: There is a crisis brewing in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Assembly polls in the state.

Sources have told CNN-IBN that UP Governor T V Rajeshwar has written to the Centre saying that the Mulayam Singh government has lost the moral right to stay in power.

He has asked for the Centre to impose Article 356 - President's rule - in the state.

Mulayam, who was at a rally in Uttarakhand, said, "If the Centre wants to President's Rule it may as long as Amitabh Bachchan becomes President.

Vegetable Prices Stable

New Delhi: Rising vegetable prices, which resulted into hike in inflation rate last week, have stabilised now. Farmers and wholesale sellers say the rise was due to unseasonal rains.

But inside sources say that eventually it's a game of demand and supply, and for the whole last year there was a huge demand from the state of Tamil Nadu. Now that Jayalalitha has gone on a diet, supply to the rest of the country will be normal.

Anna Nicole Smith's body embalmed

Florida: The body of Anna Nicole Smith was embalmed Saturday. The move takes the former Playboy Playmate's body one step closer to burial, but the fight over who will claim the body has only begun.

Smith's attorney and longtime partner, Howard K. Stern, says Smith wanted to be buried next to her son Daniel, in the Bahamas, Anna's mother, Vergie Arthur, wants her buried in her native Texas.

But her plastic Surgeons are laying claim to the body...They say they own the body as they are the ones who created it.
