It's Paradise

10IBNLive IBNLive

Trust me...its paradise;

This is where the hungry come to feed,

For mine is the generation that circles the globe in search of

something that we've never tried before;

So never refuse an invitation,

Never resist the unfamiliar,

Never fail to be polite,

Never outstay your welcome.

Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience

And if it hurts, its probably worth it.

You hope and u dream

But u never believe something's gonna happen to you,

Not like it does in the movies;

And when it actually does

You expect it to feel different

More visceral, more real

I'm waiting for it to hit me...

Of course, this is not my creation... but what the heck??? Who says you can share only your creations with the world... and I am sure... every other 25 year old like me thinks the same way... So!! Well, that's not the point that I am trying to make... nowadays, I am feeling exceptionally young... since India turned 60 and is being touted as the next big thing... It indirectly directs that we, the 25-year-olds (who comprise some large chunk of this country and world's population) are the next-big thing.

And this poem epitomizes the feeling!!! Every line here... is something that I would like to tell the entire world... to the banks (to stop doubting and give loans to young people who dream of creating an empire or just travel world... if I may add at very very low interest rates), to the schools (please think beyond the textbooks... children need to learn a lot more), to the governments (for once don't think about yourself... think about the generation that will do you all proud... leave corruption... do something for the country... you are setting a wrong example)... to the parents (leave your ambitions for your children aside... god created them so that they could uncover their own capabilities)... to men (for once think of women as human beings... it's a shame you don't think her worthy... Had it not been for her... you wouldn't have been there)...

There's a lot to shout about. But the key is in keeping quiet and doing your work. Time to get back to work!!!
