Zindagi Live: A challenge, not just a show

A new season has begun...with new dreams, higher hopes, bigger expectations and fear more than before...yes, fear, because now its not a new show anymore. Now people are expecting certain things from us. We ourselves have grown and matured over the past one year. And so the challenge is greater for the second season of Zindagi Live.

What i have noticed in the past one year is that it is impossible to please each viewer all the time...if we talk about trauma, death, grief, there are some people who blame us for glorifying someone's tears...if once in a while in a festive mood we invite a star, again we are blamed for creating a platform for celebrities...

What is important is that we need to realise that life is not one thing or the other. its not black or white. its a blend, a beautiful blend of so many things, so many moments, so many emotions...if we talk about failures, we also need to talk about success..if we talk about death, we also need to feel the new life and so on....This is the essence of second season of Zindagi live.....Here you will experience everything... the trauma of families who lost their daughters to dowry, the success of people who grew up in orphanages, the struggle against drugs, the pain of people with cerebral palsy and several other issues and emotions which get ignored by us in our hectic lives. But at the same time, we will make you sing and dance with Himesh Reshammiya in our Diwali Special.

We hope that you will continue watching Zindagi Live, sending us your feedbacks/ideas/suggestions.

From the entire team of Zindagi Live...here's wishing you all a Very Happy and Safe Diwali.

God bless you all.

hi richa
please stop using high eq music under your stories...please
dnt make it so dramatic..because whatever stories ur bringing in ur show r already powerful(most of them)..again throw away those stock music loops of violins and pianos and synths...im sure 'silence' works better....reat is upto u and ur producer. ...Reply

Hello Richa,
Never came across this show but today. You were interviewing people (Imran,Taarique etc) whose lives have been ruined just because of false allegations on them and to add more there is no accountability for such crime. I was extremely touched as if i was watching myself being interviewed as i know you would have asked me the same questions you were asking them.

This tragedy occured on 30-11-2007.In short my wife committed suicide in a bolted room hanging herself and me and my parents were held responsible for murdering her by my inlaws.Me and my parents were arrested immediately and were in jail for around 63 days damaging our social status to maximum which my inlaws were focussing on.They were well aware of that it wasn’t a murder. I wasnt aware that the police, administration, judiciary etc. have got such poor and pathetic functioning but my inlaws were well aware of it and they gained the best advantage of it putting those false Sec498A, Dowry Acts etc which were absolutely baseless. Even the Post Mortem reports were 'managed' and the report declared it to be a case of murder by strangulation after a lot of physical torture. i was shocked to hear about the report. All of the local media, news papers declared us to be murderers without getting anywhere near to the truth.Luckily, by the order of executive magistrate the complete Post Mortem operation was video recorded. My inlaws made thousands of copies of this video cd and got it distributed in whole of the town (where my beloved wife was completely shown in nude condition) stamping on their humanity completely. Even my two and half year old daughter was snatched away by them which was given in custody of my uncle by me during my absence. My relatives had full faith on us. They sent a copy of the Post mortem video cd to Indias first private forensic lab- Truthlabs at Hyderabad for expert opinion. The result was obvious. Experts commented that it was a simple case of hanging and also no marks of injuries on the dead body are found. My younger brother also lodged a complain with the Medical Council of India, New Delhi regarding the unethical practices/misconduct of the doctors. It was a long procedure but still they too had to admit that the findings of the Post Mortem report were completely false and it was a case of suicidal hanging with no physical injuries found.Even the doctor conducting the Post Mortem in the cd was heard speaking to somebody -"No such marks of injuries are found..but keep patience". This verbal statement of the accused doctor was also confirmed in writing by the Head of the Forensic Dept of Gauhati Medical College in his Expert opinion supplied through Assam Council of Medical Registration. Surprisingly, the accused doctors are still practising and holding their offices putting innocent peoples life to risk and they have got no accountability of their crime even after it got surfaced in this manner and complaints against them to various top authorities.I have got all the related documents, video cd etc and can be sent to you if required.
Currently i am concerned about my daughter. After getting bail i filed a criminal case against my inlaws so that i can retrieve her as soon as possible before her delicate mind gets polluted by my inlaws. But the result is same...Its been two years since that black day and i am still fighting and i have lost all my faith on Indian Judiciary. We were a very happy family and we all loved each other and had no complaints. I have got photographs and videos of almost everday after my marriage to prove it.But i believe it will be too late when justice will be delivered and i would have lost my daughter by that time.

I have got many things to say, many things to express which cannot be written here due to word limit. But would like to just request you-- If you can -Please, Please Do Something for my daughter
and dont let her future ruin just because of a immature mistake committed by her mother.Please..

Zindagi Live is an amazing&inspiring show...it instills faith in common man that Media(print or Electronic) does good work too.. Till this day we thought that media simply shows News in a sensational manner.. & most part of the story is Fabricated.. But today on 13th December 2009.. as I was browsing through channels I saw the Story of IMRAN & TAHIR being covered on Zindagi Live- which touched our heart & moved us to Tears....

Yet the big question is Something wrong has happened here in the Lives of These Innocent People who were arrested on wrong ground...Making them & their Families bear the pain & stigma for no fault of theirs... Who's to Blame Here? Who sent them to Prison? Who's going to take the responsibility of printing wrong stories about them in the Media...How is this wrong to be set RIGHT NOW...Is anybody enquiring in their case...??? Is the Print Media Apologizing for their MISTAKE??? Are they printing that these MEN WERE INNOCENT...so that these people would get back their respect & their lives back in their social Circle ....!!!!!!

Though I appreciate with all my heart the little justice&good being done to them by your show... But can't anyone help them to get back to their normal life.. can't anyone do more than gifting IMRAN a Wallet..rather getting him admission back into his UNIVERSITY to complete his B.Tech.. get his studies done get him a good job..& let his family get back their reputation & live with DIGNITY...

I dont know much abt Politics but all ministers who keep arguing in parliament...What role can they play in cases like these & how government serve COMMON YOUTH who is our FUTURE INDIA....

I wish to convey IMRAN & TAHIR not to lose heart..Keep Fighting on Past is often forgotton with time.. & I am sure they will be successful in their lives...
