The National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval will visit Burdwan on Monday. On Friday, the NIA Director General reviewed investigations on the ground in Burdwan and Mushridabad. Two suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists were killed in a bomb blast in the area, putting the Mamata Banerjee government under fire as well.
"The BJP government must come clean on black money and reveal names at one go. The selective leaking, rumour mongering and innuendo will not do," the Trinamool Congress said.
Shashi Tharoor was axed as the Congress spokesperson for praising PM Narendra Modi and backing his Clean India campaign.
