Soon after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the first full-fledged budget of the Narendra Modi government in Parliament, the Congress and the BJP reacted on the budget. Speaking to CNN-IBN, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that this budget is anti-poor, while BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani said this is pro-people budget.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the first full-fledged budget of the Narendra Modi government in Parliament on Saturday aimed at high growth. Congress leader Kamal Nath said that this budget is a huge disappointment. Speaking to CNN-IBN, Nath said, "This budget is great disappointment because it does not stimulate the rural economy. It provides nothing for generating employment."
