Will Anna's departure affect India Against Corruption's political fortune?
After Arvind Kejriwal announced India Against Corruption's (IAC's) entry into electoral politics, Anna Hazare has asked that his name or image not be used in future programmes of IAC. Does this rift signal an ominous beginning for IAC's political formation?

- I think so too

- Nothing wrong in having political ambition .
- Ashutosh, whom do you consider responsible for untimely death of Anna's movement against corruption? Asked by: Shyam Vadalker

- do u think new party will manage to find good candidates by 2013 for all delhi assembly seats and 540+ seats for loksabh by end of 2013? how ? Asked by: Vivek S
- Difficult but not impossible.
- Sir If Anna didn't wanted political movement why he announced a political alternative at Jantar Mantar and why he is meeting with strong BJP follower baba Ramdev Asked by: Ashu
- Only Anna can answer this question but i still think that he will not be Ramdev for long.
- how would u see the role of kiran bedi in parting anna nd kejriwal? B'coz anna himself anounced frm jantr mantr that he will support kejriwal party... Asked by: agrim
- Kiran Bedi has decided to side with Anna. She is opposed to Arvind joining politics .
- Will IAC's political initiative make corruption and development as the fundamental issue in elections surpassing other irrelevent issues? Asked by: Yasharth
- Corruption is a fundamental issue and affects every one and it is fought well then half of the problem is sorted out.
- What do you think will be Anna's stratgey going forward. Asked by: Amit Paul
- He has promised to remain in movement mode , he will continue fighting corruption but will not join politics.
- do you think the rural india will support kejriwal? Bcoz congress nd bjp knows very well how to make vote bank in the name of castism Asked by: agrim
- It all depends upon the issues and the mode of the mobilisation. It is true Arvind has his support base only in urban centres but id he raises right issues he can create a niche for himselves in rural India .
- Do you think Kejriwal exists without Anna\Media??? Asked by: Amit
- I believe so.
- I personally feel Kejriwal took a good decision to enter into moral, legal battle against india's problems through politics. But saddened to see the reaction from Anna side. Do you think Anna's mindset regarding these active politics is not appropriate? Asked by: Sai Hemanth
- Anna is entitled for his views and it should be respected. If he feels he will not enter politics , he is well within his rights.

- Its a new experiment which has to be tested . it might succeed, and might fail. if succeed then it will change the political culture.
- Do you think Kejriwal taking so many things at a time like in protest with Kudankulam nuclear plan activist SP Udhayakumar, cartoonist Aseem trivedi, Delhi electricity issue Asked by: Sanpat
- As a political party Arvind has to behave like a political leader and his party as a party . And as a political party it should have views on all the issues which affects common man. So earlier he was only concerned to one issue that is Lok pal but now as a member of a political party he has to address all the issues.
- Ashutosh, will Arvind end up diving anti-govt. vote? Will this help the congress? Asked by: Ashok Keriram
- I dont think this will help Congress .
- Yes, Anna's departure would have a negative impact. It was Anna's clean image, Gandhian ways, and blemishless conduct was what led to the movement being successful. He was the mascot. Without him it would fail. Kejriwal, one feels has lost credibility and is now giving vent to his personal political future. Your views Asked by: Narayan
- I have high regard for both of them. Ideological difference are natural in democracy .
- HOW MANY SEATS WILL KEJRIWALS PARTY WILL WIN IF GENERAL ELECTION WILL HELD EARLY 2013??PLZ GIVE CLEAR ANSWER.. Asked by: ASLAM
- How can i give clear answer ? I am not an astrologer ? It all depends how they mobilise the masses and what issues they raise. Winning elections is a different ball game. There are too many factors that control the luck of a party and candidate.
- sad but it would. some politician has ensured that this happens.Dont you feel that the civil society should not take the politicians at their face valuue and fet conned every time? No political party is clean which ws evident in the sense of the house resolution which was a word teaser that was passe to make Anna give up his fast. As is well known this was prepared by Arun Jaitley in the presence of pranabda, kapil sibbal and the likes. Dont you feel that Anna, rvind and others should see through the ganme and steadfatedly fight for the cause? Asked by: Arun
- Why to blame for politicians for what happened. Fault lies with them if they cant be together. But this happens in all the big movements after initial success differences do emerge and division does take place . Nothing unusual.
- Yes it will affect, mostly, in rural india. But there was no option but to form a party otherwise Baba was going to confuse people by forming a party. Im seeing this movement as 1857 Sepoy Mutiny which gave hope about freedom from british but failed. But good thing about Kejriwal is, he is not confused. he has a great vision which may change india by 2020. Asked by: Vivek S
- it is very difficult to guess right now . One only has to wait and see how they evolve from now.
- Winning election in bigger states is impossible for arvind kejriwal but delhi 2013 election which is small urban state like delhi can iac win election and make kiran bedi as cm candidate . Asked by: karan
- Yes you are right . It will be a very tough task fro them. Leading a movement is a different game and contesting elections is a different game. Even Delhi will be very tough for them .
- do u think kejriwal is a B team of Congress for dividing urban BJP voters Asked by: Parag Patel
- Kejariwal is an independent entity and his party will also be an independent entity. If he emerges as a strong political force might damage both.
- Anna once mentioned Ramdevji is immature and cannot lead agitations. Now gone back to Ramdevji. Arvind said if Anna asks us not to form party, we will not do it. Now he broke with Anna...with this flip flop types, I don't think we will loose anything with Anna's departure... Asked by: anirudh
- But that is not true. Anna was the face of the movement and is the most charismatic of them all. He not being with Arvind will certainly affect their political campaign.
- Anna is to Kejriwal what Gandhi was to Nehru, ideological figure & supreme inspiration. Gandhi kept away from active politics but also kept practicing his influence on Nehru to ideologically guide his political career. I feel Anna keeping away publicaly is a well thought-well planned move which will benefit and not hurt IACs political fortunes in longer run. This will allow IAC to project that they have a neutral honest observer and guide in Anna. Do you also feel that Anna-Kejriwal rift is planned, not as wide as its projected and they are basically both rooting for a system without corruption? Asked by: Akshay Sanadhya
- Anna Kejariwal rift is not planned . It was a bitter parting Anna even said that he will not allow Arvind to use his name and picture also for his political party. This is sad.
- Anna's dislike for active politics was always well known. Don't you think having multiple fronts like Kejriwal and Ramdev will affect IACs political fortunes even more? Rather than joining IACs political wing, dont you think Anna consciously decided to stay neutral and may be help in unifying these multiple fronts ? His meeting with Ramdev right after making his "No association with IAC" public, indicate a larger/better game plan :) Asked by: Akshay Sanadhya
- i wish if they had been together. Occupying different platform will certainly weeken the movement.
