Dr Swamy, The fact that billions of dollars which could have been used and can be used for rural and infrastructure upliftment are being siphoned off in corrpt deals such as the 2G spectrum allocation. My question is to you is two fold - 1) Since the politicians directly involved in such scams had in fact taken an oath to protect the constitution and show allegiance to the Republic of India, they have acted as traitors (as their acts are directly hurting the prospects of the country). Can they be tried as "Traitors" in a court of law as the CrPC does not have enough teeth and they will get scot-free and all their properties immediately confiscated? 2) Any bureaucrats found hobnobbing with such politicians for monetary or other such gains violate the UPSC rules and can they be barred to serve the government in any capacity for the rest of their lives?
