After taking English Vinglish, Did you feel anything you learned or you felt you should improve? English Vinglish was a feel good movie with excellent direction, and kept me smiling while leaving screen. Good luck for your future projects! lots of things...hmmm...it snowed unexpectedly and we shot that snow dance sequence with Sri for the fun of it and it made its way into the movie:) end credits

Why did Sridevi enter the cafe if she does not speak English. My mother also goes to Canada but always enters Cafe, etc with my Sis or me. It looked kinda filmy. THought the behavior of the African woman was pretty true Asked by: SBH

The relationship of Sridevi's niece was so unreal, she has left her involvment from her sister's wedding and is only focused on her Masi. How I wish if all relatives were like that! Asked by: SBH
hahahaha thats not entirely true....the story is from Shashi's POV so the movie has to focus on that and not so much on the wedding which you assume is all happening in the back drop

Young Indians in West getting married to am American and the Indian parents being invited for Baby sitting and then politely geing sent back to live in INDIA at a senior cotizen's home.The emotions can be brought out well on the grandparent grandchild bonding and their seperations thereafter . see you write a film with the idea in mind and to do your best for the idea...difficult to write thinking which age group will watch...why not 35 plus...they are audience too:)although a lot of young people including children have loved the film and are taking their parents and families to watch it the second time

The amount and kind of response I have got for the film has been overwhelming...the impact it has had on mothers husbands and families it has made me cry....no box office can match that feeling...also it is a hit so no loss to anyone which is very important for me....the rest is not in my hands:)

yes...it was for me...it is reality that can happen...and life is not about personal moralities....also it adds a lovely dimension...not a flat straight story....but we can all have different points of view...this was mine:)
