- At Tata AIG, our employees are considered as the most important assets and they help in keeping our promise. In that direction, I would say that HR is considered as one of the most critical functions and we are seen as enablers of the business. HR partners extensively with business and HR views, ideas and thoughts and actions are well received.

- There are various initiatives that the organizations deploys right from the time a employee is hired, but the one most important thing is an organization culture which revolves around recognising and rewarding talent, providing opportunities for internal growth, giving responsiblities at a very early stage of career and supporting their needs through learning and development.
- What is the equity breaku between TATA and AIA.. is it going to be 49% after the recent notification? Asked by: SBH
- AIG has a 26% stake in Tata AIG General Insurance. The current norms permit for only 26%. The Insurance bill has to be still cleared for us to comment on the subject.

- We still are an AIG Company. Only the Life Insurance business has been renamed as Tata AIA Life Insurance.

- The reforms have just been unleashed by the Government and we should see the outcomes in terms of industry begining to hire again in the near future. Be flexible and adapt to the situation. Do explore all options.

- As prescribed in the regulations, I believe, for all locations which have less than 5000 people it is 10th pass or equivalent for all other locations, it is 12th pass or equivalent

- Yes. Home makers can work from home. They may be required to come to the local office once in a way to attend sales meetings. You can approach any of the Life or General Insurance Companies that may have their office locally and express your interest. Every Company has a process for appoiintment of an Insurance Agent.

- Openings are largely in the area of Finance. In the General insurance business CA's with an aptitude to sales can look at underwriting roles in the area of Liabilities business, where the ability to read the balance sheet of a Company and understand the risks associated with insuring them will come handy
