  • What is the perception of the average pakistani on the action on Kasab.?/ Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir I think the average Pakistani would not have paid the slightest attention towards the execution of Kasab or he would have just shrugged his shoulders.
  • Similarly which section of the country is more enthusiastic for friendly ties? Any sectoral, generational, class divide? Asked by: Kamal Agg
  • Ayaz Amir Apart from the far right, & the religious right, & what you may call the ideology of Pakistan lobby with its unofficial headqtrs in Lahore the rest of Pak is for normal friendly ties with India.
  • Tit for tat action on Sarabjit will no way help the countries. Will that be avoided ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir Why should anyone in Pak think on these lines. Kasab has been hanged for what he did. The ques of tit for tat is completely irrelevant.
  • Sir,what is the size of people of pakistan in percentage terms who support these extremists violent ways? Also which part of country is more anti india? Asked by: Kamal Agg
  • Ayaz Amir No part of Pak is anti India. Pakistanis are concerned about what India is doing or is perceived as doing with regard to the 3 western rivers. Pakistanis are not very happy about India's human rights record in Kashmir. Pakistanis don't get very enamored of anti-muslim rights & killings in places like Gujarat. Pakistan has its own problems & doesn't have much time to spare for investing in anti-India hatred.
  • Why did Pakistan fail to take custody of the body of KASAB ,a citizen of that country ?/ Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir We are not concerned about Kasab for his role in Mumbai attacks. He has probably received his just deserts.
  • Has not the USA given more concrete proof of PAK based militants involvement in the 26/11 incident, including that of David Headley. Why pak continues the denial mode ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir Pak is in no denial mode. There are many terrorist outfits based in Pakistan & operating here & constituting a grave threat to Pak security. We are more concerned then India can possibly be about terrorism.
  • Will Pakistan act on the remaining players of 26/11 mumbai attack who are freely moving around in Pakistan ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir No, if anyone is involved & there is proof against him, he cant be walking around freely in Pakistan.
  • Though the timing of action on Kasab is being denied to have any political mileage, is teh gujarat elections on the eye ??? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Ayaz Amir I dnt have my fingers on internal Indian politics, so I really can't say.
  • Let us forget retaliation and grow and let bygones be bygones. we were more than brothers not so long ago. Is it not time that we mature and not be at each others throats? Is it because the vested interests on both sides want to keep the pot boiling for their selfish motives? Asked by: Anonymous
  • Ayaz Amir Well there are groups on both sides who stoke hatred for their own narrow end. But both countries should grow up, will have problems but they should be in a position to talk about them in a civilised manner.
  • Why cant we resolve our disputes peacefully and not get stuck on a single issue of Kashmir? Asked by: Anonymous
  • Ayaz Amir We are not stuck on a single issue. The Indo-Pak relationship now embraces a variety of issues, Kashmir is one of them but there has been progress on trade issues & visa liberalization. But it would help if we could get a stupid issues like the standoff in Siachen out of the way.
  • Sir do you believe Dawood is not in Pakistan? How come Miandad find him but not the Pak govt? Asked by: Kamal Agg
  • Ayaz Amir The Indian govt is very resourceful, why doesn't it publish his address on the internet.
  • whats your thought about kasab's hanging? will this have any impact of sarabjeets mercy plea? Asked by: Dinesh Yadav
  • Ayaz Amir Not at all, there is no connection & to make a connection is absurd.
