  • IS it true that Tirupathy was ceded to AP in 1953 AP bifurcation in lieu of TN retaining Madras ney Chennai ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Devulapalli Amar One cannot say in lieu of chennai. Tirupathi is alway a part of Andhra . And AP asking for chennai is also not a correct demand. AP has no right over chennai city.

  • Devulapalli Amar As the situation looks Kiran reddy may not quit and congress ministers are not resigning because they knew that state is going to be divided and they have accepted to it in Delhi before their high command.
  • Govt should have planned all the sharing including the river, power, capital etc before declaring the division of state? Why is it dividing first and then thinking about these things Asked by: Kashyap
  • Devulapalli Amar It is congress party' s mistake. Situation did not arise over night. The demand for separation of state exists since its formation.
  • Hydeabad as common capital will be no solution unless Hyderabad is declared as a UT. Is that likely to happen ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Devulapalli Amar No, hyderabad can not be a UT . It is a heartland of telangana. Any effort to make it a UT will not be agreeable to that region people
  • DO you think their would have been a Telangana movement in 2000's (ignore 1960's movement) if Hyderabad is in border of telangana and Seemandhra? Don't you think it was total political initially and slowly made people part of it by many wrong statements and false promises? Asked by: Praneeth
  • Devulapalli Amar No, in any case the movement would have been there because no promise made to telangana people was kept up by the rulers. And of course political parties took advantage at every stage and ditched people of this region for their own interest.

  • Devulapalli Amar Definitely the package should be for Andhra and raayaalseema and not for telangana in case of division of the state leaving hyderabad to telangana.
  • Congress & BJP two major parties were and are supporting bifurcation TDP was and is ambiguous. YSR Congressis fishing in troubled waters. TRS had wanted it Left was not so supportive. Justice Krishna Committee gave 5 options. Is the need for Telengana creation justified ?? Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Devulapalli Amar Need for creation of telangana is definitely justified, it need not be seen in the light of political parties behaviour.
  • Yes it has divided the people, more than the division the manner in which it has been done has hurt the people and they feel betrayed. Where is RAHUL GANDHI, he was shouting from the roof top on the ORDNIANCE and stating that it was a nonsense. Y is he not able to see the nonsense now. Y cant he ask CWC, how the entire process has hurt the people, and how for the last 70 days, they have been agitating. He has time to go to Muzafarnagar with his mother and PM, he cant find the same courage to come to SEEMANDHRA, this shows the hollowness of the future PM. Asked by: SE
  • Devulapalli Amar You are talking about 70 days of agitation in seemandhra, Rahul Gandhi did not visit even telangana when the movement was at its peak over a decade and about thousand innocent people sacrificed their lives.
  • Was it wrong timing or unilateral announcement by Congress which has caused a backlash in Seemandhra - even from Congressmen ?/ Asked by: sundar1950in
  • Devulapalli Amar Timing I don't know may be wrong but how can one say it is unilateral decision of congress party? Except CPIM and MIM every political party has given concent for the division of state at one or other stage.
  • Telangana should and will be a reality, contours may or may not be the same. It has shown the hollowness of Congress in the manner in which they have handled the entire process. Right from the word go they have been saying it is a sensitive matter and they handled in the most insensitive manner. All through the 2nd half of the UPA term congress never announced its stance. They only said, let all other parties tell their stand and when all of them told their stand, instead of telling their view, they took a decision. And look at the manner in which they did, no discussion, 5.30 p.m the CWC meets and 7.30 p.m UPA coordination committee meets and the announcement. Where are the discussions on the SRIKRISHNA COMMITTEE report, when did the assembly discuss the same…….all the people have been taken for a ride by all the political parties. There is no statesman today who can mediate, Digvijay singh who cannot get congress back to power in MP is deciding the fortunes of Telugu speaking people, Whatever may be the outcome, congress will have to bear the brunt of the curse of people in putting people into this situation Asked by: S ESHWAR
  • Devulapalli Amar I agree with you, congress party handled it in a shabby manner. Yes there is lack of statesman in our country we only have petty politicians at the helm of affairs.
  • Please explain what is the basis for formation of Telangana ? and with formation new state will the problems be solved? Asked by: pradeep gandikota
  • Devulapalli Amar Basis is the injustice done to the region over 60 years.
  • Hello sir,How can you justify the creation on telangana of distorted historical facts. How can one regions aspirations be fulfilled at the cost of the others livelyhood.? Asked by: tarun
