This is the space where CJs can fight for their rights or against any wrong they see around them. Typically a CJ writes in on ibnlive.com/cj with a problem that they have been trying to resolve for some time. IBN18 partners with them, setting up a face-off with the concerned authorities who can solve their problem. Our CJs take up the matter and bring it into the public domain, hoping for a resolution.

Save Your City
This is the arena where the CJs amplify their city-centric problems. The traffic that never moves, the potholes that cause serious backaches or the streets that get flooded every monsoon - any city-related civic issue that merits attention finds worthy space here.

Be The Change
Be the Change highlights volunteers who see a problem or experience it firsthand. They observe it over time, and then take up the challenge of resolving the problem. They are the people who don’t just sit there, but work out a viable solution and then implement it. More often than not, the solution requires the CJ to partner a lot of people to bring about the change. And this platform helps them document the change over a period of time using a handy cam.

Fight for her Right
As is evident, the Citizen Journalist show provides a forum for the forgotten and ignored sections of society, to fight their battles and voice their concerns. Taking this thread forward, the focus of the third edition of the Citizen Journalist Awards is the Fight For Her Right category that highlights Girl Child issues. We will award 5 outstanding stories, where girls have refused to bow down and have fought for their rights.
