Come on guys, at least they are able to keep their country a secure place to live on. They did not let terrorist to repeat 9/11 on their soil and look at us Indians, how many of us can say with confidence that there will not be any act of terror on Indian soil in next 24 hours. The issue that Mr. Khan had was that he was treated like a common man. At the US airports even US citizens undergo the same security checks and frisking just like Asians or any other traveler. We should rather learn from US how to maintain high level of security to keep the country and citizens safe and secure. But probably we will never understand as we will never change this mindset of idolizing the likes of film stars cricketers and so on....

Common guys , we are just making issue out of nothing.
They did this as part of their security measure to protect PEOPLE and we have to respect the laws. I hope in our country also if security personnel strictly follow rules we can avoid many attacks.

When these so called Indian VIPs are told to follow rules and regulation outside the India just like any other normal citizen, these guys go MAD. They just can't chew the fact that they are treated normally. I guess we are looking here at new disease called VIP SYNDROME. The icing on the cake is our Cabinet Ministers also jump on the bandwagon and start making comment about procedures of foreign country who are now so strict in their security checks after 9/11. God, i have been so happy if such checks would have become norms in our country both for common men and celebrities after so many bomb attacks we had. I want to tell everybody in Government, don't make fool of yourself by behaving like kid and coming with sound byte in Media without knowing facts. Its look so stupid for Indians staying in America. What we should tell our American Counterpart that Sharukh Khan being an film star is absolute of all the rules and regulation in India. Don't we look stupid!!!

This not a big deal. It happens all the time. This media outarge stems from the fact that in India there is a kind of belief carried on by some that VIPs or VVIPs are above the law and they should be given special treatment. If you are a superstar so what, you cant spare 2 hrs of your time for gobal security?

This has happened to number of celibrities, mammootty kamal hasan etc., how bout the 100s of western celebrities questioned?

I was shocked to hear the comments of the Cabinet Minister, Ambika Soni!!! Where was this minister when 100s of ordinary Indian Khans, Abduls, Mohammeds were questioned at air ports in foreign countries? Only now she feels it is not right?
Come on...lets firts accept if there is law it os for everyone!!

Like a normal civilized person one may follow it if it keeps people away from unwanted stuations. the United States of America has learnt this lesson very well & they are doing just fine what one is supposed to do.
Rules & Regulations are for everyone.

It clearly shows that Shahrukh is highly obsessed with his 'stardom' & is an egoistic person. What's more, people should not forget some years back Mr. George Fernandes ( He is a Christian & was then the Defence Minister, Govt. of India) also gone through the same security check then. Now, will Shahrukh stop making a fool of himself by CRYING before the media.

' Timing ' Matters. He is simply using this incident as an opportunity for CHEAP Publicity. This incident infact reflects the hideous facet of Shahrukh who is insecure & is not at all humble as a human being or as a person. This fellow thinks himself as a movie star & gets frustrated when treated like any other passenger who is travelling at International Venues.

The world should know that Shahrukh is overeacting & is an overrated movie star. Much of his so called filmi success is due to his ' Marketing ' himself as a big brand. People should not forget that he has studied Mass Communication in Delhi. He knows very well how to make & take advantage of situations around by "using" Print & Electronic Media.
