Sachin's statement that he is a Indian first and then anything else, will definitely and unintentionally attract all his followers to the least, and the entire nation in general.

Being the Icon that he is, this statemnt of his gonna make people, think, that what the Shiv Sena and MNS is preaching, is utter baseless and not meaningful at all, given the context of the society we live in currently.

Shiv sena realized this and saw this as a threat, and thought it would be better to keep Sachin out of their way and that's why this un-wanted statements. I think it's a indirect threat to Sachin, from the Sena saying "you better stay out of the main agenda of our politics, or else we will loose whatever followers aka voters, we have left"

Totally un-justified and un-acceptable.

Thanks!

No, bal thakrey only wanted to draw media attention toward him away from 'raj'. And he did accomplished his objective. For the whole day everybody was talking about him not about raj thakrey. After all he is the uncle of raj.

Dear Sir,

Are you not ashamed of not respecting your country and your national language...Please understand...every Indian has his own right..If you like marathi...you speak in that language...but you have no right to decide on what another indian speaks...irrespective of cast, creed or religion..Im a South Indian..I dont even properly Know Hindi...but still I respect this language because it is our National language..

Always be Proud to be an Indian First

This 'Maharashtra Manoos' affair is now being taken a little too far by involving non controversial players like Sachin. What political and development agenda does Shiv Sena and MNS have other than Marathi Manoos? The qualities that Shiv Sena and MNS leadership has do you rate them as leadership qualities? Had they some constructive agenda I am sure the people would have appreciated them. But by being linguistic and adopting 'hate all others' policy will only land them in trouble with the mass who cannot be fooled all the time. Their influence is only among that section of the society whom we can term as goonda raj.
No right minded person would support them. I remember those days when just one word from George Fernandes (George the Giant Killar as he was known)and full Bombay use to come to a stand still, not out of fear like today, but out of respect to issues that were raised and the respect that he 'commanded' not demanded like Shiv Sena and MNS.

Now the India is facing 1) Fayan hurricane and the unexpected rain which has destruct the whole crop gain. 2) China is trying to make pressure on us. 3)The terrorism facing by india and fake currency maters.. so many things to discuss but the politicians dont have interest in that. untill-unless we dont focus on the developement of the common man and hence the developement of Country we cant move further. I thing that the politics should be like the MNC - Multinational Company which has the micro schduling for the fiscal( year ). like that every politilican has got tht micro and macroschuduling for the month and year and the central Govt should check out the progress of the work according to the money proveded. there is lot to write but this is only for this day ... microscheduling

The run machine is doing his best to the country in the field of cricket.Dragging such a person to a controversy or a scandal is not fair for any individual. This issue should be dropped here and individuals should look at themselves.

Yes, i dont know how thakre is a political leader, because he says to sachin that, just play in ground, dont comment on politics, but it is the fundamental right of every citizen of India to comment and criticize on politics. And Mumbai belongs to all, i dont see any wrong in this statement.

Shivsena and MNS have lost game they are frustrated and not able to face the hatred of mumbai people on their face..every sensible person dislikes them to the core of heart and they are going to buried one day deep on dearth of hatred, shame and hollowness..

I feel the statement made by sachin is perfectly all right and every indian should tell that they are indian first and the state comes 2nd, but i think people like Mr.Balasaheb Thakerey, raj thakeray and other MNS members no more deserve to be an indian citizen. i want to ask them one question if MNS people travel to some other country where people dont know them are they going to tell we are from maharastra and we are marathi and not Indian.... If mumbai people are unhappy about what mr.Thackeray has said about sachin then what kind of poor leader is he who doesnt understand people whom he is representing. People like these (Mr.thakeray) have always dragged our nation behind, so I request every body that not a single vote should be given to these people.

In the recent Assembly elections Sena has lost ground while MNS has not been able to garner their expected number of seats. This has upset the boss of these two parties and they are trying their level best to do such things which will attract the maximum attention of the media and public. Tendulkar was in the news in a big way, therefore, he was a perfect target for attack by Sena Chief. Actually, these parties are well wisher of none. They want to come in power by raising regional feelings for their selfish gains.
