After the horrifying verdict, there is not even an iota of doubt left that this case is similar to those of Jessica Lall and Nitish Katara where rich people use their power to get away after committing horrifying crimes. The case should be reopen and put to fast track.

"Lie has speed , but truth has endurance" as the saying goes.. Mr.Rathore can run but cant hide from the law.
In india peole have lost faith in judicial and police departments.but things will change once people with good intentions and selflessness out number inefficient judges and policemen.there's are complete nexus between politicians, cops, beurocrats, judges which is saving each others a**es..but lets not fall into despair and hope that justice is prevailed in Ruchika's and numerous such other cases.

one must be in the system to change the system. jst writing in blogs and commenting doesnt work.citizens participation in finding the truth is needed. we should be in the openion that - today it has happend to ruchika.. tomorrow it might happen to our kids or sisters or friends. then only a lesson can be taught to all the erring people.... jai hind!!

Speedy justice is the need of the hour. The victim's family & the country at large has had to wait for long enough to see a verict come through.... any more waiting will blunt the edge of the court's decision.

Indian Democracy still existing with out dated laws and powerful people taking advantage of it. Why cant we the people take these rogues to task. In a country where the president in a women , UPA chair person is Women and LS speaker is Women still Women are treated like pittance.

The Case must be re-opened and put on fast track court the guilty should be paraded naked and shot in public so that no powerful person will hereafter do this shameful thing again

COSMETIC JUSTICE CAN KILL AND FAITH WILL BECOME THE CASUALTY

Ruchika's case symbolizes the HOPE of every citizen who has reposed FAITH in our JUDICIAL SYSTEM and DEMOCRACY.

If in society members should not be seen taking law into hands , the law must take care that things do not go out of hands.

Earlier done the better.

Cosmetic dispensation of Justice is more dangerous . It can ignite even the most innocent and patient mind

no use in getting it reopened without first challenging the supreme court verdict that abetment of suicide case is dropped against the accused.
and supreme court cant be challanged.
at least the judgement should be made public on the net so that we can get insights into the minds of the lordships honourable judges of the supreme court that what made them think that there was no case for abetment of suicide. why did the supreme court block the attempts by the lower judiciary to probe false cases slapped by haryana police against the victim. the nation wants answers. its time the judgement and the reasons for it are released for lesser minds of the general public to grasp the reasons for it.
otherwise the only people to have faith in the judges and judicial system will be the criminals.

Certainly.Inspite of the case prolonging for 19 long years, proper jusrice is yet to be delivered. It is shocking that Rathore gor jus t6 months imprisonemt. He shoudld have been awarded a severe punishment. It is an injustice to Ruchika and her family. The case should be re-opened and Rathore should be awarded a death sentence or Life Imprisonment.

Yes. Criminals like Rathore should be seriously punished for their misdeeds. I congratulate all those who has exposed this gentleman. I wonder he has influened the court also since the punishment given to him is not appropriate to his criminal act.

Do u expect that highly esteemed police, the judicial system and the CBI will bring up something new.hello we r in India and justice is only given to ambanis and tatas not to the poor class of the society. so better our as usual indian style. "GOD WILL PUNISH HIM FOR HIS DEED" He will be having gud time now but will rot to death. thats what every mother is praying and MAY GOD BLESS THEM WITH THE WISHES..
