Forget Shiv Sena's stand for a while. It is a fact thet under constitution citizen can work at any place in the country.Mumbai is like dream place for outsiders.Apart from Banglore & Hyderabad,there are no big cities which provide financial opportunities for the citizens from all stratas of the society.Mumbai is like a magnet but today Mumbai due to crumbling infrastructure,utilities & bad governance,is on the verge of collpsing & hence needs check on migrants .Like migrants,locals too have their dreams,has anyone given a thought what they feel about the issue.Mumbai is a dream place for them too,why they should leave their near ones & homes to go out & work just becuase constitution says so ? For example ,let us assume Patna becomes financial capital of India, outsiders start taking jobs there at the cost of locals, will locals of Patna & leaders of Bihar will take liberal view as they are expecting Maharashtra to take ? This problem is not going to go away like that.Shiv Sena took birth about 40 yrs back on the same issue. President Obama has been asking to protect jobs for the locals from Indians & Chinese, no Indian politician has expressed concern for impending loss of buisness or jobs.The solution to this problem is if Govt practice caste based reservation then why not make a law that in every state has 70% reservation for locals & rest for migrants in all fields.If done, we will be reducing importance of regional parties in the country & citizens will not fight against each other.

BJP chief Nitin gatkari is right sena is behaving like separatist they are attacking anyone and everyone who is speaking of the united India.

There is nothing wrong in Mr. Thackeray's assessment about Rahul Gandhi, as the so called sensible politician from Congress, who pretends himself to be against regional politics, has himself started speaking on North Indians and marathi issue. One never expected Mr. rahul to stoop so low, by giving regional colour to NSG.Is he not aware that NSG is a paid force from Taxpayer's money like army and Police force and have to perform their duty anywhere in India. What kind of dirty politics this young politician is playing ? Is it just to beg for votes from Bihari youths?

Thackeray and his organization is of no use to marathis nor indians. History shows he is misusing powers for his personal use and to get fame. As of now he and his party doesn't have a value in mumbai or anywhere. So just to get fame he is targeting famous or popular people and spoiling public properties & creating public nuisance by using so called "Gundas".
I request to Supreme Court of India to ban this organization and File case against he and his party.

So its ok for migrants from certain parts of India to come to Mumbai, grab whatever open space is available with help of slum mafia and complicit bureaucracy, turn eco sensitive areas like mangrove marshes into huge slums, encroach on National Park forests, create impediments for various roads and important infrastructure projects. Black mail the city by demanding extension of slum cut off dates. Openly flex the vote bank muscle to gain amnesty from directives of high courts for eviction of illegal and extremely polluting cattle sheds or clearing encroachments on National Park forest .
There are genuine grievances of average Mumbaikar that is being deliberately neglected by all and sundry, the support that MNS /SS gets in Mumbai is precisely bcos of this.

I think it is the other way round. Shiv Sena is frustrated that it has not won assembly elections in the last 3 elections. As a bad loser, it is not able to digest that people now no longer care for them. so everday it wants to be in media by issuing such statements. People of mumbai want discussion on infrastructure, law and order.

Regional parties like Shiv Sena pickup meager issues. The issues of regional nature create conflict among the states and endanger the unity of the country. It is high time to curb and ban the regional linguistic issues.

Mr.Rajiv Gandhi is son a Mumbaikar (Rajiv Gandhis Birth Place is erstwhile Bombay).

Shiv Sena and other Regional Parties should play inclusive politics and developments.

It is the time, when there are threats of terror in the air, such separatism issues should be banned.

It is sickening to know that people have no better things to take care and are worried about their petty politics and personal gains. Shame on these politicians and shame on both state and central government for not cracking hard on hooliganism.
