Rahul also spent some time with children in slums in Mumbai.

If my memory serves me right it was S B Chavan who had done something like this with the late Sanjay Gandhi's foot wear. Bad history repeating itself. The CM waiting for over an hour along with all the other sycophants is no surprise - they all wanted to make an impression on the future PM. I have a request - please now that Rahul's very successful trip is over please please can the congress party pull down all the thousands of banners with mug shots of all and sundry welcoming the young Gandhi. The suburb he called on is completely defaced with the mug shots of frightening faces. Thru CNN IBN I would like the congress party to get this msg.

Open Defiance! What open defiance...That fellow was surrounded by security guards...and think of the problem for the local people who had to change their route because Rahul Baba was coming.....all rubbish! He should sit back at home and not try to be too smart. If his roaming free can bring down the prices of dal then he is free to roam...

It was certainly very nice to have young Rahul visit my city. He like any other Indian is very welcome to the maximum city with open arms notwithstanding the nonsense unleashed by a small minority. I just have one issue which I hope your channel will put forth to Rahul. The day he came calling, there were scores of banners put up across the suburb with all kinds of politicians putting up their best smiles to welcome the young leader. Is this required?? The entire suburb looks ghastly with the banners of all kinds of people blocking traffic signals and also scaring small kids. The local congress unit needs to be pulled up for this kind of wastage of money as well.
