no need to ban IPL
dissolve the IPL governing council.
make it an independent body. revive ICL as well . if anyone one to join the competition that also can come in the fray.
give rights to franchizes to elect their own governing council.
every league should be accountable to BCCI.
BCCI job is to run the cricket with rules and regulations.they should form different bodies who can keep a check on the games.
BCCI should not do any business because BCCI is not constituted for the same.

This issue is getting more importance than it deserves. However Pranab Mukherjee directing Sharad Pawar, represents a conflict of intrest on Pawar's part.

The PM is annoyed - and is hitting back. God Help people who get in the way!!

Well done SIR, please finish the job, people around the world are watching how we deal with this scam.

Why is the BJP silent? Was Arun Jaitley (member of IPL Board)not aware of what was happening in BCCI/IPL?!? As a leading laywer he should know a thing or two about corporate compliance.

Shashi Tharoor will return as a full cabinet miniser - Watch.

why is the media treating the IPL governing council with kids gloves. The Council is collectively responsible if there is any wrongdoing. It would be morally right and best for the entire council to resign and ask for an independent enquiry. Otherwise every member will have a stake in Modi's success and a huge coverup can be expected. It is a collective failure of Farooq Abdullah, Ravi Shastri , Sunny Gavaskar etc. They should take moral responsibility and resign and consequently force Modi to resign too. Their reputations and credibility are at stake. If Tharoor is guilty by association so are these big names.

Let the heads not chopped off in Talibani manner. let there be a thorough investigation into the probable alleged mismanagement. And before this is done it is not proper to call any one's name-- be it Lalit Modi or any one else.

This is because till now I am not aware of the charges being indicated against Modi. Is it because one head has already rolled ? But then the minsiter had some prima facie evidence leading to the charge of impropriety.

why only modi is targetted the whole governing council of IPL and IPL is a pvt body under BCCI so governing council of both IPL and BCCI is responsible for the controversy , how can sharad pawar shashank manohar or else who are deciding the fate of MODI is equally responsible for the mess, therefore its better to dissolve both IPL and BCCI, till the inqury is carrying over. govt should appoint members for both IPL and BCCI till that time.after inquiry whosoever comes clean can be back in the both the organizations.

its hard to have honest people running ipl when its being devoured senselessly in every home..its just an example of exploitation of peoples love for cricket in india..nobody hopes to see one long lasting player for the country, lifting a world cup..entertainment for the people and money for the players..time to rethink and know what real cricket is..

IPL ...has become Insiders & Political League , who have made these players a mere glamorous entertainers with a pinch of bollywood masala to cover the acts which is taking inside. The common man is hypnotized by glitz & glamor .The actual game is played inside on the high level. All these inquiries / media / press etc is just a white-wash. These high level dons knows that cricket is second to religion, hence they can get away with anything & everything
