WE now have DMK which is supporting such party and some people who want Indians not to go there. Why?

tamils did not urge the bachchans alone... they had first approached the other south indian film industries. then after tasting success with their participation, tamil film industry approached bollywood. unfortunately this brought a great dent in the bollywood fraternity. dividing groups into the already divided bollywood. also there were celebs criticising as to why the bollywood was not united in attending iifa. well i dont want to get into details.

all i wan to say is that, tamils are my brothers and sisters too. but a film industry should rather entertain the public than involve in politics.. especially international politics, where the interests of a whole nation is at stake. the tamils who went to rebel at srilanka dug their own grave. they made their choices.. hence had to face the consequences of their actions. whether it be good or bad.

Tamils had no problem when the Indian team went there and played cricket or some cricketers went there for treatment,then why target Amitabh only.In IIFA awards function Amitabh will not be the only film personalities to go there,do the Tamils think,if only Amitabh does not go there their cause will get strength or support?Is Amitabh such a big personality?

Afetr Abhitabh tasted failure he has become greedy businessman , and should not be respected as an artist . He can visit any country and do anything for sake of earning money.

Dear Tamils,
Do not give undue importance to film personalities.Amitab Bachan is a Pucca business man and strictly a private person without much public life.Nothing will happen due to his visit to Srilanka.IF there is business he will not hesiatae to go to even Pakistan.

Bachan is a actor in real and reel life, he only need money, he do anything for money.....

I think it is unfair to ask Mr. Bachchan to disallowed SL as venue. He has nothing to do with the politics. and People who thinks that by attacking him as aperson will help their cause to become famous is absolutely rubbish...

He is just a filim actor - (or a glorified actor); I do not think he is going to express Indian sentiments or rather Tamil sentiments. Who cares where he goes and does.
