Lalit Modi is suspended from BCCI for six months. During that period an interim panel will manage the IPL.

Modi was a shmuck who let snakes in his pot of treasure guard it. When he put his hand in it to steal some loot, he never realised that his own snakes would strike him back. Modi was a corrupt businessman looking to make fast money like the ambanis. Little did he realise that India had completed 60 yrs and now we had a strong press who scans for accountability in deep waters. The present India is not the illiterate India when Dhirubhai stepped in.

I recently had a chance to visit my motherland India. I was in Mumbai staying next to Cricket club of India's office on Marine Drive.

I had time so decided to inquire few things about Cricket Club of India with their Clerks and Lower staff who agreed to open their mouth.

The Board which is printed on wall there states it is "Cricket club of India ltd" ( a sort of Public Limited Company !). it is a society, a kind of non government body which runs by few independent members who get elected by other fellow members all over India.

All their income goes to their own account of CCIL, it has nothing to do with government of India.

Few people are working on higher position in clerical, administrative etc also without being eligible due to their proximity with big honchos of CCIL

Jagmohan Dalmiya was the person who commercialized cricket not only in India but world over, and Lalit Modi was a great hostile person for JMD. But Lalit Modi also learnt all tricks from JMD only

Whole fight against modi is due to the political clout of Lalit Modi with Mrs Sindhiya and Distribution of Beneficial position and monetary gains within CCIL

It is my personal views only

"One of the forty theives is accused of misconduct, and so a panel of theives decides to conduct an enquiry, another few charge him of misdoings, and the remainder claim innocence in all wrong-doings till date." Heard one of the panelists say this on a TV program, which aptly describes BCCI and its' cronies.

Whether you like Modi or not,one thing even his enemies would admit is that Modi has an an extraordnary organising capacity which he has proved in conducting IPL matches whether in India or in S.Africa.

Fact of the matter is very simple. Modi rubbed congress and congress wants to create problem for him. They are doing this through BCCI. Initial rumours about Sharad Pawar and Praful is to create a situation to force Sharad to take action on Modi. Congress is a very clever party and will open and close CBI Files, Enquiries, Police case, sent rumours through media etc etc until its goal is achieved. It misuses all democratic institutions to create pressure and problems for unwilling partners. More important congress feels that Lalit Modi is more close to BJP. Outwardly India looks a democratic country but you will realise that justice is a rare commodity when you are in problems and no democratic institution will come for your rescue. All you need is power, money and high level contact to bail you out of any problems.

I couldn't agree with you more.Arm twisting is another word for it.If some one has any doubts kindly see the fate of Shibu soren, the guru ji of Jharkhand. Please understand his pain & predicament in not voting with the BJP,his ally in the state,so much so that he had to actually loose power.Spare a thought for the beloved Guru ji of jharkhand.

It's time to probe deeply into the activities of BCCI as well as IPL its adopted son. We are sure Modi alone is not to be blamead as he could not have done everything alone, he had people backing him actively, surrepticiouly & lending overt as well as covert help.

Let us get the whole picture of the syndicate, along with all in the team of officials. We need to get to the bottom & punish all those responsible -- overt / covert. BCCI needs to be cleansed along with IPL. We should not have people who are dumb on any of the boards. We need clean & performing people.

Cleanse the Game, don't dither & politic.

However, all this talk may not amount to anything, as is the case in our Country. Let us see the clean & strong PMs action.

When will " Truth Triumph " in India ??
Jai Hind !!

I Lalit Modi has charges against him then he must be tried, given a chance to explain and punished if necessary.

However, we must not forget that their are some high powered polititians who have also reaped rich dividends in this whole scam.

Please expend the investigation to them also. it wd be incorrect to punish Modi and let the Netas and babus scotfree.

Mr PM and Mr FM that nation watches, so show you have the spunk in you.

Was the BCCI unaware of all the charges, surely they have acted in collusion without any doubt. Why did it take a tweet from Modi to trigger this ??
