The UPA govt is on the backfoot as it seeks to secure support of the allies ahead of a cut motion in Parliament.

When weak leaders rule a nation, things will skip out of their hands. Babas, Social activities and many more will start raising their heads and voices. The masses will start listening to those people who have more influence than the weak national leaders.

Ministers like Kapil Sibal never have mass support, where as Babas have. The lack of a leader of Masses is evident in UPA. This is not only the situation of UPA. BJP is also facing the same situation. After AB Vajpai, and LK Advani, they do not have a leader of masses. That is why, Social Activists and Babas could take over their role and creating waves against the Govt.

India has got a Govt in place. But India is still waiting for a leader of masses like Indira Gandhi and Vajpai and Advani. He may be a Baba or a Social Activist or anyone who wins mass support.

Yes, this is certainly true though difficult to disest. In fact the defect doesn't lie in the leaders but in the choosers and in the system which facilitates this.

Can any one dare to kidnap child in USA or Europe or Singapore for force them to beg or for prostitution ? Are you or children safe ? Ask those parents who are searching their kidnap child in every road and finding face in beggars. If Govt can not maintain safety and happy living after 60 years ? They deserve to sent to mental hospital or ashram of ram dev.

The present UPA Govt. which is occupied by greedy politicians and allies, we could only have scams instead of development oriented schemes. It is better for all the opposition parties to ask for a fresh Govt. with service minded people and for this, people should also be united. In short, the need of the hour is the ouster of UPA Govt.

I am sure the country will have a bad time thereafter. Which government has been clean???The media has brought to light the malfunctions and scams of the UPA but have not had the opportunity of doing so for the NDA...because the phenomenal coverages we have on media were not in existance during the era of the NDA. Let them come to power and we will be aware of worse happenings than you will know. At least the UPA has taken the country forward my dear friend....the NDA on the otyher hand plays a more disruptive and communal game. Let the NDA come - and see........

We have telecom Minister who is just busy in creating scams.
We have FM who is just not in position to control inflation or price rise.
We have Railway Minister who is more interested in Calcutta than railways.
We have Govt. which is moving at whims and fancies of babus, no wonder so many jawans die and nothing happens to either HM or home Secy. or DGP's
We have Foreign Minister who gets insulted in Pakistan and says nothing.

Yup, true. They've gone bonkers.
The reason is simple.
Manmohan Singh tasted fame with his (forced) liberalisation - as its "architect".
Now he wants a legacy: As the one who made peace with Pakistan.
So the cost the country pays does not matter: Definition of a Megalomaniac.
He has no time for anything else, so GOI has gone berserk.

This is absolutely correct. We have a Prime Minister who does not have the will to take any decisions on his own. For example the Prime Minister is very soft on the Kashmir issue. There is widespread violence in Kashmir, but adequate measures have not been taken to control the situation. He cannot deal with the naxalite problem effectively. If this would have been in China they would have quelled this rebellion much earlier.
And his cabinet of ministers are a bunch of non performers. They all pay attention to their personal gains in terms of vote, power and money.UPA-2 is a complete failure. Our country is in total chaos. God save us.

How would you even know who is the worst? You have the Congress ruling over 60 years and what have we achieved under their rule? 77% of the population still live under 20 rupees per day. The state of Muslims is worse that even scheduled castes under Congress rule. If they are voted to power again, they will be smug in their confidence that they can never be voted out ever, no matter how many scams they do. You need to give people and parties a shock treatment every now and then.

One of the best posts I have seen in a while.

'Congress ka haath, aam aadmi ke saath'... what a rip-roaring bunch of morons the Government has turned out to be. Just imagine, my dear, informed fellow citizens- what could have really become of this country had the UPA decided to use the money for CWG and the questionable UID project for noble causes like boosting infrastructure, uplifting the poor, providing foodgrains to the downtrodden, and providing electricity and water supply to ALL parts of India. Just imagine.

Add to that, the centre's lack of determination and a spineless PM who cannot even comprehensively integrate and quell disputes in Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Andhra Pradesh (Telegana) into the Indian democratic union, especially when China and Pakistan are ever so keen to scavenge our border areas.

These lowlives should hang their heads in shame. I am just waiting for the next election.

Yes we are agree, they are in Parliament to raise their emoluments and parks and other benefits. They are very poor.
1. Cost of Fuel .... you are bound to carry as you are an Indian.
2.Agl. Minister is fully protected without his support UPA 2 may be in trouble.
3.Otherwise how the Privateers will come ?
4.Rly. Minister is busy to sit for W.B.
5. M.Ps salary & emoluments hike is must - no cost curtailment but to sanction Gratuity to Central Govt.employees is only to satisfy their own employees w.e.f. 01.01.06 but for others it is 24.05.2010.....cause ....cost curtailment.
Decision =..... you are all our "PRAZA" and we are the "RAZA" .... So you should obey what the "RAZA" decides in Razya Sabha.

I propose that the PM and the cong president should be made to drink ground water from old Bhopal, stay in the games village and go without security for 24 hours.

Ministers and bureaucrats helping themselves to public money AND WE CITIZENS DEBATE IT INSTEAD OF FORCING THE GOVERNMENT TO RESIGN??
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US!!!!
WHY IS THE PRIME MINISTER NOT CALLING FOR THE SWISS BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS??
We may be having the most corrupt government in the world.

Very True....In addition Mr CLEAN (Rahul) travels at time of elections to all States and behaves as tough he is part of the common citizens but that is only a farc......Why did he not influence his mother & the PM who is spineless to throw out Raja instead of making him resign?????? Also what about the Maharashtra issue....They accepted Ashok Chavan's resignation why he should have been sacked.....Accepting his resignation is only an eye wash Don't be too surprised when he is made a union cabinet Minister or a Govenor or given a plump posting in some PSU......Why has Chaggan Bhujbal not been opposed against by the Congress for him appointing MEP for collection of Toll in the State inspite of getting better tenders for the same?????? By appointing MEP for Toll collections the State is going to loose some 600 to 700 crores of rupees......Is this not yet another scam????? Hopefully, the new CM does not give Bhujbal the same portfolio again.....This scam should be investigated.....and Bhujbal should be hanged.......

We have a democracy that can be called a mockery.
Are the dynastic political leadership is not suffocating? Why people go for such stupids and imposed leaders?
The elections are not serious but a festival for sale and purchase of votes.
The % of voting is less in middle class and educated areas.
Let us judge and imagine who the culprits for not choosing the deserved candidates are.

Moreover, Most of our voters are in the interiors and there are hardly any loksabha seats in cities & town which can affect the Results to bring the Honest people.

Completely agreed! We need to have a second thought on electoral politics and democracy. Its simply not working! Let us have a National Govt. with enlightened members from all major political parties, with 2 or 3 years term, and that too one term for one person at the helm, so that they don't bully one another and rather work for the uplift of the country. The major part of the tenures of these politicians are now spend on infighting on trivial issues. Common people are just fed up.

No government is that fool to accept illegal phone tapping charges. That applies on UPA too.Every state government do it.I came to know that there are some people ( officials) who were involved in phone tapping earlier too want to come in open and tell the country on whose behest they did all this. But the need protection from fake cases and harassment from authorities as happened with former RAW head ( I think Mr. V.K singh, not sure of name) after his revelations about Corruption in Raw.Let the officials come and tell us who ordered them to do all this tapping

The greatest misfortune of the UPA govt. after 2009 national elections has been it has no single "opposition" party!Besides the officially recognised OP. even individuals take pleasure in opposing the Govt.!
The Home Minister says that Govt. has not asked anyone to tap the phone of leaders! We have to believe it. OR disprove that statement with facts and figures.
The only document they have is the latest issue of OUTLOOKIn the third writeu zeroing on NTRO. it concluded that "mired in corruption and known for operational inefficiency, it has become a hub of nepotism."CAG is undertaking its audit! Another commission is probing its staffing and other policies!Govt. could not be faulted for its pimbroglios.
