I feel this song is appropriate for a theme song. The tempo of the song is also made to go high from start to end. The percussion styles used is also totally different.
To see this choreographed in a stadium will be interesting to see.

and the pseudo-intellectuals have started judging ar rahman! everyone doesnt essentially like the same thing. sensibilities vary.
i dont know why ar rahman is being torn apart!
at least his work is original!
had it been someone like pritam or anu malik....they would have lifted some nice tune and we would have been happy.
Lets worry more about the preparations for the CWG....the ground, the management of funds, the facilities given to our players for practice, the roads, the hygine and other more important things.

The Administration of the CWG 2010 at New delhi will brings shame to our nation.Its a disaster just waiting to happen and then the blame game will begin.

I am also very concerned of security at the vanue and village and I hope for safety of the players and their management.

In all this builtup and the hope that the games will be a success,I hope and pray that we will not forget the main issue the corruption and I wish and belive that we sould find those guilty and punishment given in at least six months.
This investigation must not drag on for 20-30 years when half the rouges and cheats would have left the earth. so no one gets punished.

Some things go wrong sometimes and does not warrant such criticism. It looks like the nation is trying to erase the 20 years of ARR's contribution to Indian Music with this public opinion. One can't forget ARR's Zubaida or Rang De.... He was the apostle of music then and one tune gone awry means, ARR has suddenly become the undeserving.....

Instead of raising the question 'song worth of 5 crore...you can raise like 'opinion of the song'
As per my view composing a song is not with money with a heart.
Of course for committing the song he might ask money.
Rehman never think ...if 10 crore given the song would have better. Guys he is representing India.
I can agree with criticism however it should be ethical. At least you media people should not raise question like ‘song with the money'

Rahman's composition of songs usually reflect the quality of the movie associated with it. For example songs of Lagaan, Roja, Swades etc. are considered masterpieces, while songs of Ravaan etc. cant be listened to more than once. So, it is just fitting that a competition being held in such a shameful manner deserves this kind of a song.

The whole CWG is joke................... and made INDIA look like stupid in front of the world
