What a self-realization? I am really glad to know or someone is feeling so proud after this. Why didn't they step down till beneath indian ocean. Why didn't they step down their Indian Nationality. Why didn't they step down on their knees? Why didn't they step down their humanity?

This was something that was coming....

The man who with his words and actions dug his own pit... How is it actually decided who gets what after they get elected... these men, are these people atleast trained how to handle situations... told what to speak when they encounter media... the cricketers are better off in this regard. They atleast learn in the duration of the fame and power they are in.. they should have been called to assess the situation and help these people in house.. rather than spreading disgust and chaos among the mumbaikars and indians...

Having seen his resignation... what is coming next?
Why are these guys elected when they are just the disgust to the humanitarian cause of the state and the nation...

PEOPLE PLEASE TAKE MATURE DECISIONS WHILE VOTING NEXT TIME ONWARDS...

Is this the result of aftermath? What have you achieved? So when next strike happens, who next will be to resign?

Why PM and his team resign as this is not a state issue but national issue. I am not a BJP or congress person but a true Indian. Shame to all polititian. Country is passing though toughest time than 9/11 and we just form few committies and sacks some honest people from job.

Poor RR Patil.

We must take action atleast now

- an action that is drastic, cumulative of years of not doing anything. Let us demand for accountability! Let us make our so called elected representatives account for every paisa of the money that we have paid up to ensure our safekeeping, good roads, continuous electricity, clean water, to mention the basics. Let us have them justify their Z-class and Y-class security, while we burn. Where is the accountability? Let us bring it back.

Here are a few numbers to quantify things:

Number of terrorist attacks in India since 1993: 33
Number of terrorist attacks in India since 2001: 30
Number of terrorist attacks in India in 2008: 10

Number of people killed since 1993: 1300+

Income Taxes collected from individuals for the Financial year ending 31st March, 2008: Rs. 10,37,40,00,00,000 (103740 crores)
Sales, property, petroleum and service taxes collected for the Financial year ending 31st March, 2008: Rs. 6,73,83,00,00,000 (67383 crores)
Income from Police, fines etc.: Rs. 14,67,00,00,000 (1467 crores)

Expenditure on Anti-terror squads, Police upkeep, Police development/improvement, equipment upgradation for past 5 years: 3700 crores

Put forth the following demands
1. If there is 1 more attack we boycott our schools, colleges, offices and professions till our safety is ensured.
2. If there is 1 more attack we do not pay any taxes and fines (income taxes, service taxes, even sales taxes on petroleum and groceries).
3. For every year that has a terror attack, we do not pay taxes and fines.
4. Every minister's security detail is removed until all the terror attacks of 2008 have been investigated and verdicts handed out.
5. Our security forces are trained to world standards in 3 years, by pioneers in the field, from Israel, France and the United States.
6. NSG Commandos to be decentralised from Manesar, and 1 unit each to be present at 5 locations across India - North, South, East, West, Central.
7. Every Minister with even a single charge of crime against his/her name to vacate office immediately and disbarment due to this condition be made binding for any candidate.
8. Every single entry point in to and exit point out of India (flights, road, trains, water vessels) to have severe and restrictive identity and security screening. Any discrepancy with any person to warrant immediate deportation to last port of exit.

Only resignation does not solve the problem. They should be held responsible and deserve to get punishment for crime they have done. Not acted on time eventhough they get info on time. They bought cars and put money in buildings rather than to provide better and latest arms and ammunition to our police. Secondly, this is not the right time to accept the resignation (but not to be relieved from punishment) but to give assignment and monitor the same. Because new person will take time to understand and implement the strategies. If assignment not to be given then shall be ban for life to be MLA/MP. I am pround of our commondos, police who put their lives for nation and other peole and authorities who has helped during action. THEY ARE THE REAL HEROES AND NOT POLITICIANS. They will be remembered forever to every INDIAN.

Its a common saying:- if a piegon closes his eyes, the cat will not run away. why are Our politicians running away From their responsibilities? why are they showing themselves incapable? why are they talking big things when it comes to election rallies? where is there capability gone when they are made to handle important departments of the government. their resigning is no more than a political drama.
and on a global scale, why are we showing the world that our minsiters are inefficient. they cannot handle the responsibilities given to them. instead of getting them removed, why cant we change their approach towards this country. we all know that they cant handle such situations. this will increase global pressure on them. and the british rule story can repeat itself. beware of these politicians and their political moves.
