Terrorists need a place to group, train, plan and obviously in case of terror attacks against India the soil is of Pakistan. The root cause needs to be addressed. The attacks are done by suicide squads of these terror outfits. So our vigil, speeding judicial system, making an anti terror law etc can only help up to an extent.
To address Pakistan, we need to take some solid steps, however military operations are unlikely because of two reasons, firstly India will never like to be the one who starts the war, secondly Pakistan is a mad nation who just before loosing a battle will let loose there Nuclear arsenal. third reason could be economy. In these difficult times where economy has slowed down, war can have serious repercussions on Indian citizens too.
So we need to scare Pakistan. For that one of the ways is to change our Nuclear policy from present stand of 'NO First Use' to may be considered. Also we need to prove Pakistan that every single corner of Pakistan can be attacked with Nuclear bomb simultaniously and hence its second strike capability can be crippled. So there deterrance can be ended and it will definately force Pakistan to redesign there strategy against India.

Dear Brother Editor,
I have complaint to the Government to root out corruption & terror as follows. Kindly aware the people of the cause of corruption through media forthwith to awar the Government and the Governance.

My Lord The President of India,
I, A.P.N. Giri Advocate High Court, Allahabad praying to our President of India that the Parliamentary form of Government as existing today is colorable exercise of power by the ministers to encroach the power of government. The Minister’s dual role, one in Council of Ministers and other in Houses of Parliament of which they were member before appointed as Minister, is not only unconstitutional and extra constitutional but they are responsible for terror and crime in India by their biased personality which is dangerous to the life and liberty of every people. Noticeable here that the political parties are not the subject matter of the warrant of the Constitution but the political parties are forming the government on the custom and uses of Great Britain having allegiance with foreign State which is not only National Issue but it is an International Issue also. Some Constitutional interpretations on the issue by the Apex Court do not stand according to Article 147 of the Constitution and are liable to be reviewed.
The Parliamentary Form of Government and the Supremacy of the Parliament has been turned down by the Apex Court in AIR 1973 SC 1461and the Supremacy of the Constitution and Democratic Republic Form of Government with separation between the Executive and the Legislature was held as Basic Structure and upheld by Constitution Review Committee.
Unless the Ministers are prevented to have dual role to be in accordance with the warrant of the Constitution, the increasing crime, terror, unemployment, arbitrariness in public legacy and administration will never come to decrease. No police, military or commandos will able to prevent the crime and terror when the ministers are its originator.
Kindly refer the matter and issue to the Apex court for consideration with notice to me, the under named.
Highly obliged to Your Excellency.
Thanks.
A. P. N. GIRI
Advocate High Court (Old Study Room),
20/1 C. Y. Chintamani Road George Town Allahabad

I may be a dreamer, but my solution are as under:
1. We need to REVOLT against the Corrupt politicians and officers.
2. Let INDIAN be our main religion.
3. Any body who preaches hatred amongst Indians should be hanged.
4. Send our commandos to eliminate the terrorists and their camps ( it should be done very systematically ) Don't beg for the terrorists "just eliminate them".
5. Make our Security Systems strong ,Root out corruption in our Police force, Military and other agencies.
6. Make our politicians accountable.
7. Make sure we vote for the right leaders.
8. Educate the uneducated to vote for the right people.
9. Elect some very strong leaders who can teach a lesson to our neighbours.
10. Be like Israel. If some one troubles you make their life miserable

I fully agree with one of the readers that main cause of strife in India is the second rate treatment meted out to the minorities in India. Although every successive government happens to call itself secular but the facts and figures speak otherwise. The minorities specially the Muslims are denied sufficient educational opportunities; they are very poorly represented in services. Whereas the downtrodden sections of the Hindus and the Sikhs are enjoying the fruits of reservations in educational institutes and services, these are unjustly denied to the minorities.

Whenever riots broke in the past, the minorities always suffered heavily at the hands of communal rioters as well as the communal administration. Even our justice system hardly guarantees them fair and speedy relief and their tormentors are seldom caught and punished. This story is repeated each time the atrocities are committed on minorities. Be it Gujarat riots or recent riots in Orrisa or any other communal holocaust in the past. This injustice is the root cause of many ills we face today.

The present government seems to have totally succumbed to the pressure of right wing parties. That is why it is out rightly ignoring Sachhar Commission report and has almost put it in cold storage. All this does not augur well for the strengthening the secular character of our great country.

This country belongs to 120 crore people belonging to different religions, castes and regions. Let every one of these 120 crore Indians be made to feel equal and all of them given equal opportunities to enjoy the fruits of development and let there be no discrimination on the basis of religion, caste of region, If all this can be ensured, no enemy of India can dare to come near us, even remotely.

On the morning of 27th November, I woke up with a sense of dull apathy little knowing the day that was to unfold. I lazily switched on the TV where reports were coming in of firing happening at CST terminus. As the series of news events began gathering momentum, it dawned on me that Mumbai was under the grip of a terrorirst attack. Not again my mind screamed!!
As Fervent and dishevelled newscasters went about their business trying to find out who had done the attacks, I knew at the back of my mind the inevitable name that would come forth "Islamic Terrorist". As I braced myself to be plunged in grief to hear this, it suddenly flashed across the screen that they were from Pakistan. Call it morbid, but somehow I was relieved that it was some other country and not someone from India who had perpetrated the attack.
This is exactly the way every Muslim of this great country feels on hearing of a bomb blast or a terrorist attack. There is an unannounced air of relief whenever perpetrators of violent attacks turn out to be from non-Islamic fundamentalist backgrounds like the case during the Virginia Tech university massacre in April 2007 in which a South Korea killed 32 students.
I rack my brain trying to find a reason as to why these people do the brazen things they do. The mind numbing emotions that all muslims share are hard to pen down. A deep sense of shame and a pall of gloom prevails amongst us. Why oh why do they have to attack in the name of religion? Do they feel people will be terrified and will accept Islam? Is this the way to let peple know about Islam at the point of massacaring innocent humans? Who will understand the high ideals this religion propounds, the solution for all of humanities problems that it offers, if the followers resort to such inhuman methods.
Do these people know that we hang our heads in shame with regularity when we are with non muslims? Do they even have an idea of the way we try to hide and skirt these topics when it is being discussed? How humiliating it is to sit among our collegues who look at us accusingly! All the pride that we have about us being muslims gets washed away. We seem apologetic and fail to find the right words to cover our sense of indignity.
The common perception among the Indian community is that we are all lovers of Pakistan, a gun happy country that is infested with terrorist who have no idea what their religion preaches them. They are doing more harm to the religion than gaining from it.
Let me tell all that we are no fans of Pakistanis. We infact hate and condemn them. Fact is that they look down upon and treat Indian Muslims like inferiors. A friend of mine on his visit to a gulf country was asked by a pakistani whether he found it hard being in a Hindu country and whether he wished he were in Pakistan instead. My friend was horrified by the suggestion. I echo his sentiment fully when he said that we love our dear motherland that is India. Now where in the world would you find a country so linient, so tolerant, so free as my India. Given a choice I would never ever want to leave this beautiful land. I am a true Indian Muslim Patriot who is in love with his janmbhoomi.
After all we Muslims are responsible for the plight that we are in. We have not educated ourselves enough. We have long played the blame game. It is high time that we stop blaming our country. No one can be a thorn to an individuals progress. If we have the right determination no one can stop anybody from succeding. Why do we have to heap our problems and blame someone else?
Politicians feast on our religious sentiments. They play with them and provoke us into retaliating. Acting as our sympathisers they whisper "They are your enemy". "Hit out against them". "They did this to your mothers and sisters, burnt your houses, looted your property". "An eye for an eye". "Come on what are you waiting for". "Kill them before they kill you. " And then the weak amongst us flared by such inflamatory speeches brandish swords, and knives and let blood spill on the streets.
And what about the pest neighbouring country? They are just not able to deal with their own countrymen and have so many internal strifes. It is extremely frustrating for them to watch Indians so united and progressing. Hence for their own vested interest they want to bring a strong divide in the country so they can merrily watch India burn. If they cant live in peace so should the Indian Muslim. This is what they feel I suppose.
What does a common man want from life? A decent job, A happy family life, security for himself and family, food to eat and thats it. He is not bothered about anything else. But these smart politicos dont want that. How will they rule? How will they survive if everything is hunky dory? So..Divide the society..Polarise it.. Make 2 factions, Muslims and Hindus. Once one party will sympathise with one faction and rule and the next term you do it. All are in cahoots with each other.
My dear Hindu bretheren, all Muslims are an integral part of India. You cannot wish 20 crore of them away. Dont assume for a second that just becasue they are silent, they are in favour of these terrorism in this world. They dont say anything due to a sense of shame that these miserable cowards heap on their religion. They feel the pain of India. Same I want to tell the Muslims. We need our Hindu bretheren. They are not biased towards you. Look into yourself and correct your flaws. Dont blame your miseries on them.
What will happen if we fail to understand the devious intentions behind our wily politicians. India will be in total disarray. There will be more and more riots and infighting. India will succumb to a civil war. Who is the loser? Ultimately it is you and me..the common man. Our children will suffer and we will have no hope to live on.
I appeal to all Muslims of India. We have not being vocal enough to shun terrorism. Everone mistakes our silent shame to being unpatriotic, of siding with pakistan, of being a violent barbaric community, of justifying killings. Shouldnt we put a stop to it? We must all rally and voice our support. We must participate in peace marches, stand shoulder to shoulder with all fellow Indians and help them in this hour of need. Flood the forums on the internet, voice your opinions on TV channels. We must show all that we are one with them and condemn all forms of terrorism. This the least we can do.
There is no other solution than being united. Send a strong message to one and all. Take out procession. Hindus, Muslims and people of all faiths. Send strong signals that we wont be divided. Scare them with your united chants. This will send across the message that the people of India cant be fooled anymore. We must dream of a united and progressive India with people of all faiths standing shoulder to shoulder to make our India a super Power.
Even if a dozen people get the point that I am making, it will make a BIG difference.
