Kerala CM insults NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan

Kerala CM insults NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan's family. Comment | Read Story

TimePosted by IBNLive at 09:31 AM, Dec 02, 2008 | Updated at 10:40 AM, Dec 02, 2008 in India

"If it had not been (Major) Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have glanced that way," is what Kerala CM V S Achuthanandan had to say about the family of slain NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The Communist leader's remarks came after the slain Major's father refused to meet the Kerala CM as he didn't want to politicise his son's death. The NSG commando, who was engaged in rescuing hostages of the Mumbai siege, laid down his life while trying to save a NSG commando. At a time when the Unnikrishnans are trying to cope with the death of their young son, was there any need for the Kerala CM to display such scorn?

FIRST AND FOREMOST, I SALUTE SANDEEP UNNIKRISHNAN FOR LAYING HIS LIFE FOR PROTECTING OUR LIVES AND HIS BUDDY'S. EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT IS KERALA'S CHIEF MINISTER NAME , I DON'T KNOW WHY HE HAS TO REPEAT HIS NAME TO SANDEEP'S FATHER. IT IS AN INSULT TO THE WORD DOG TO COME OUT OF HIS MOUTH. CIVILIANS POWER CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, PEOPLE OF INDIA SHOULD JOIN THEIR HANDS TO PROTEST AGAINST THE POLITICIANS WHO LIVE TO EAT!!

Being a Chief Minister of Kerala, a state representative of such high stature saying such words were totally incorrect. Any human for that matter would not say such a thing. It was total disrespect for all the common man who lost their life in the terror attacks in any part of the world. People in such high rank should be very careful about what they speak, i feel such a person deserves not to be a CM but to be dumped somewhere. They fail to understand what the word National Leader means and what they represent. Well i truly doubt is it his fault or ours for having put such people up there to represent such high positions. My deepest condolence to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's Family. And being a Malayali what i feel i can do best is apologize for the heinous comments made by a Kerela CM.

Achtanandan forgets that the statement he made can be applied to him, verbatim. ' If it had not been the CM's house not even a dog would have glanced that way'. Achutananadan should know people in glass houses should not throw stones at other's houses. But then unfortunately, Achutanandan, never felt the need to look beyond 4th standard but was fit to be named the Chief Minister by the Communist Part. How many more Achtanandans we have in this country, who are low on IQ, EQ, SQ but high on PQ, is a matter of grave concern for people like us who love this country and quietly contribute to its progress.

How could a CM say such words a people representative, Sandeep has laid down his life to protect us Indians including the CM and instead of being thankful to have such patriots in our country instead of honouring them, CM is condemning Sandeep and his family this is ridiculous…this rogue CM is worse than the terrorist, high time that we throw him not just out of CM position but out of India coz if he cant respect a Martyr like Sandeep who has laid down his life for nation…if he cant understand the sacrifice of these men.. What else is this rogue capable of understanding.

Sadly, the only view that I can express as an Indian, grateful to the sacrifice of (Late) Maj. Unnikrishnan, along with others is this type of remarks can only come from beings of the same breed and who can recognise others as themselves.

The biggest terrorists in our country are the Politicians themselves (Let us not forget also that just a handful are sincere). They create difficulties in taking vital decisions for two reasons.

The first being - Who gave the reins of runnimng the States to these uneducated morons, who cannot even read a speech written by their staff?

The second being that these spineless politicians always put self before the country and its people. Just check out what they were before they came into politics and compare it with what they are worth now. Then ask two questions - (1) From where did they get this money? & (2) why does the Income Tax Department send notices only to us who are in service or have to toil to earn a living?

It is proven times and again that most of the individuals in politics are directly or indirectly related to crime (however gross). Just check our jails and the Police records.

Now when the questions come to react to the statement of an individual, who is at the helm of "God's Own Country" all I can sadkly say is "Let barking (mangy) Dogs Bark". But it is the people who should understand that if an individual cannot understand the importance of a sacrifice of a valiant soldier, what care will he take of individual within the State? Ruminate it.
