In our country, one of the major crime about which we often hear in news is Rape. After listening to news on 6 Jan 2009 about gangrape near noida, I wish Indian government amend the laws to deal with such kind of crime and it should be changed to life sentence or death punishment for culprit so that in future any criminal thinks 1000 times before committing such kind of serious crime.

when are we indians going to learn? why are we always exposing ourselves? why should our secuirty measures be discussed in public?
today one of the news channels was telecasting how and what steps have been initiated to secure INS VIRAAT (only inidan air carrier) against a security threat through internet purportedly by LeT.
it is high time we learnt to keep such important security measures to ourselves without carrying interviews of defence personnel confirming the measures taken. who is the idiotic defence personnel who provides such information?
which channel is trying to play games within the country so that the terror operatives can change their plans? havent we learned from teh 26/11 incidents?
if the channels are being irresponsible about telecasting our secuity secrets, the government should have the liberty to stop their licences and telecast rights.
hope this will bring some sense in our countrymen.

Dealing with terror is important but apart from terror there are many other issues which needs major attention. One such issue is given below.
If possible, kindly raise the awareness, to help those who are victims of IPC - 498a (Dowry Prohibition Act ) misused by indian women. Such victims are facing big trouble because of existence of old laws and just for money, many people are misusing such kind of laws.
Thank you

In my thinking we need to initialize and strengthen some steps and programs from the primary school level to the diplomatic level.
1. India should strictly pressurize straightly and diplomatically Pakistan and other nations involved directly or indirectly with hardened criminals and terrorists groups in activities against India.
2. Intelligence, Security forces, state polices and cyber police teams should be upgraded with new and advanced technology and machinery like GPS navigation system, satellite for security of borders, marine coastline and internal security of India, IT technology to enhance cyber laws and control cyber crimes, unmanned aircrafts for aerials security, CCTV's etc in all markets and public places and place of worship etc.
3. Public private parternership module should be used for a quick implementation of new and advanced security equipments and methods as business houses and citizens of India will willingly pay for their security of life and livelihood and property.
4. Recommendations of different committees and commissions for the up gradation of intelligence or state police departments, security forces as well as strict anti terror laws and strict laws to combat criminals, intruders, traffickers should be implemented as soon as possible. Fast track courts should be there so that award and implementation of punishment can took place in a short period because these steps will have a quick response and send a strong message. Also a law should be framed and enforced strictly to the satellite phone calls providers in india so that Indian intelligence and security forces have a direct link and access to all calls and data from transferred through satellites.
5. The incoming and outgoing money and funds should be traced on each level as this money can be used by some in activities against India.
6. The internal matters and disputes with rebels and groups like ULFA, MAOISTS, NAGA'S KASHMIRI ISSUE, KHALISTAN, NAKSALI'S etc should be sort out quickly through negotiations as terrorist groups are using them against India.
7. National identity cards with national registration number should be issued from municipal and panchayat level to the homegrown which can be accessed by security forces anywhere in India and it should be mandatory to keep that card with ourselves every time. Also HINDI, NATIONAL ANTHEM & NCC should be make mandatory in all schhols, colleges & Professional Coleeges all over the india as this will boost new upcoming generation's love, affection, unity & willpower to do something good for their & our india.

i simply do not understand..........what sort of pressure indian govt. is making on pakistan govt.........when the ties are still continue on both the sides, like trains are continue, buses are continue, air services are continue. when indian govt. is himself not making the pressures to CUT all such things with the pakistan, so how we are expecting the pressures from the overseas community............... such laughable pressure from bangali babu, just words no action and making the country in the most disturbing mode.

I have been reading stories about news reports from Pakistan that the terrorists that struck in Mumbai were home grown Indians and from the majority community specially focussing on the Red Wrist Band (Kalaawa) worn by the captured terrorist signifying he's a hindu; and in response to this I have noticed newspapers blackening the wrist portion when the pictures are now published. I find this sort of reporting very irresponsible.
We just need to be more aware than this, any of us visiting any Pir Dargah would know that the Red Thread is tied at many of these revered Dargah's as well. As an example please watch Pakistani Stand Up Comics on Sony TV or footage of few of the Pakistani Muslim players through IPL and you would find that this thread is tied on their wrists as well - does it make them Indian home grown Hindus as well.
The Red Thread signifies spirituality and not neccessarily one particular religion and our Media must represent truth and logic; and not represent a weak response to any rhetoric being created by some motivated media in Pakistan by blackening the wrist portion in the pictures.
I would actually expect someone to cover this aspect and clarify this point for the benefit of the people of India specially for those few who confuse nationalism with religion. Very important that this understanding reaches the masses where the distractors are wanting to plant confusion and disbelief

India is a big economy and a more promising one for the future. We have 1/5th of the world population and that too with a big number who can speak English, are computer literate and can network well. We have to understand our strengths, recognize our weaknesses and have a game plan to improve.
Under the present situation it is very important that the citizens of India unite and first of all weed out the problems within India with regard to our political system. Unless we have young and dynamic people leading our country I don't think we are going to make any significant progress in our fight against terrorism.
India has a history where at most ocasions we lost due to our internal system failures and enemies within our community. We have to identify corrupt and selfish people in the government and ensure that only people with clean image are elected. Political parties and politicians are able to take us for a ride because we are willing to be taken for a ride. It is high time we left behind caste, regional barriers and became united as Indians and elected only people who are willing to work towards the resolution of our problems (local and national) more seriously.
Sporadic display of seriousness by the politicians to fight problems India is facing (like terrorism) is not going to help us in any way. It has to be a long-term (forever) endeavour of people and government to identify the problems and make logical plans for resolution of the same.
People of India have to unite and elect clean leadership who is willing to work on such problems more aggressively and dynamically.

As a concerned citizen I would like to raise certain issues about the current situation. The generosity being shown to our so called friendly neighborhood rather foe has turned out to be a backstabber for so many times nonetheless the repercussion has always been ugly which has taken over us and before India could do something it has turned into something deadly and painstaking.
The credit goes to Indian government who has got a basket full of inefficient septuagenarian and sexagenarian politicians with rotten mindset; who has actually contributed a lot to make the situation incredible. They not only embraced the backstabbers but have also put millions of lives on stake. I don’t understand why have we become such a vulnerable nation?
The launce of Samjhautha express has also welcomed a lot of infidels to Indian soil and the aftermath is truly gruesome.
Now the ministers have actually pulled up their socks to take stringent action against terrorism. Are we really capable to thwart Pakistan?
For the past 56 years India could have only fed the chair warmers who have contributed a lot to shake the foundation of India. If Pakistan responds this time India will definitely be shredded. To bolster the Indian arsenal I think we need to take a firm step in order to bolster the Indian arsenal. Stop promoting cricketers and movie stars as our real heroes need more support to save the endangered Indian species.

worldwide there is only 1 community who is spreading terror. Police and security agencies should act positively and should not spare any one of this community who is found guilty. we shd not allow them to become terrorist, they shd be punished hard even for smaller crimes. they shd not take this country for granted.
But police and politicians shd perform their duties.
