Are you happy with Lalu

Are you happy with Lalu's Rail Budget?

Lalu Prasad presented his sixth Railways Budget in Parliament. Do you think his Budget was a populist one? Are you happy with the Budget?

Budget is good.
But Coimbatore has been ignored now also.

Current Rating:

Not entirely.Though many trains have been introduced and there is reduction in passenger fairs, not much improvement is there in passenger amenities. The toilets in coaches continue to stink, the pillows and blankets supplied are very dirty, the food served is sub-standard,railway stations are not maintained cleanly,no protection for passengers from armed gangs,no sufficient staff to maintain innumerable un-manned railway crossings where accidents continue to happen with the killing of innumerable people.Anti-collision devices have not yet been installed in long distance trains. It is the safety of passengers more important than anything else. Nothing has been mentioned on how train accidents would be avoided.
Srikantiah.

Dear Sir
There is a saying that MONEY MAKES THE MARE GO

In that context the surplus of Rs 90,000crores is good to listen though how true it is , it has to be guaged

Howver what about the amenities and the facilities to be provided in the trains, and why is that lalu Bhaiyya did not speak even a word on it
Thanks

The budget seems ok to me but there was very less words spoken to change existing broken infrastructure.

The quality is the most important thing which is not yet considered.

Quality of food they provide in trains.
Quality of seats.
Quality of rest rooms.
Quality of platforms.
Security of passengers inside the trains.

There were not at all considered in the budget.

There were some new dreams thrown in by Lalu.. which i think is all due to election campaigning...
