I have a gut feeling that the attackers, who attacked Sri Lanka Cricket Team at Gaddafi's Stadium, may be the same lot, which attacked the Punjab Police Trg Center.
After the attack at the stadium, these guys just vanished in the broad daylight and the Lahore Police is still searching them since one month.
Pakistan investigaters should tally the profils of both the groups of attackers( from cctv& etc.),and they may find some common attackers among them.

Pakistan in an attempt to destabilise India, encouraged, nourished, and abetted terrerist groups.Thus it dug its own grave.This is what we see now in the country. I t is not too late to realise and check the terrorist groups for its own safety sake.

I cant help but think this whole drama was a charade staged by the ISI and LeT to make the security services of Pukiland smelling of roses and come out far grander and efficient than the Indian security forces whose flaws were so blatantly paraded in front of the watching world for 60+ hours! The Lahore police OTH gets success in 8.5 hours!
secondly it also portrays Pakistan too as a 'Victim' of terrorism and lets the ISI off the hook!Just 2 days ago NYT carried an article accusing ISI of running with the hare and hunting with the hound simultaneously and duplititiously!

They have there fore staged this attack and sacrificed 20 odd policemen and may be 7 0r 8 terrorists as cannon fodder or as an essential 'sacrifice' to save their own skin!They also have had one 'Fidayeen' conveniently captured ( just like a carbon copy of the Mumbai Attacks!) This may well have been a further planned attack for some distant future to be carried out in J&K or any other ordinance town in India but brought forward to Pakistan with slight modifications bcos ISI is being pushed by the current exigencies and political pressure/American antagonism etc

The situation is pakistan is really alarming and due to nuclear war heads and possible take over by these extra governmental forces some call it taliban others terrorists is posing much higher threat to this world than imagined. Imagine a situation when these forces are able to take over the nuclear establishment and so called button in their hands.

I am of the view that this whole world can be held for ransom if such a situation arises. I don't know how serious the crisis is in Pakistan and if the pakistan govt exists why not they are able to contro these elements.

I think the Government of India and the World Community including the USA must realise that given the situation this danger needs to be dealt with more firmly and if need be the pakistan may be asked by the International community to hand over their nuclear establishment to USA or any such country on which they can have some faith and the nuclear arsenels and other such weapons of mass destruction be handded over to them.

I don't know whether it is possible their arms and arsenels may also be destroyed in the larger interest of the world peace. If you want to have a snake better make them harmless by plucking out their fangs. Pakistan is just like such state which needs to be dealt with such mindset.

By the way who cares..The Pakistan is getting its own medicine.

The USA trained Saddam for its vested interests, also they trained Osama and the Taliban against the USSR, now it seems that they are again using the taliban to destabilize the indian subcontinent, which presently holds a Future Superpower, which would be a challenge to the american hagemony in thr future.

someone please answer one question with the help of factual references, that who is providing the Taliban, the Naxals, the Ulfa, the LTTE with the sophisticated arms and ammunition which they use.

The Taliban is on the prowl in pakistan.The Baluchistan is volatile...NWFP is Fragile... The sindh is already a house divided and the Fort punjab is now attacked.The situation in pakistan is a perfect for the adverseries like taliban to mushroom and prosper.The Top brass be it army ,civil service or even the intelligensia come form punjab.The Elitist here too are in abundance so are the moderates.Once you disturb this Fort and create chaos there will be cracks in the system which then could be exploiited by the taliban.It is pity that the frankenstein which the pakistan resurrected against india has turned on them and that too with ferocity.The Monetory and regional compulsions force Pakistan to cling to Uncle Sam and this is the catch 22 situation for them as how can they side with the US to fight fellow muslim brethren and is rated as the first grade enemy of the Islamic world.
