Journalist throws shoe at Chidambaram. Your say.

Journalist throws shoe at Chidambaram. Your say.

There was high drama during Home Minister P Chidambaram's press conference in New Delhi when a journalist threw a shoe at the minister.

I condemn this act.
I think that Chidambaram and AK Antony are the right men in wrong side.In congress, if a choice of PM should be given my sincere vote goes to either of them.

Assuming that he didnt mean any harm to the minister i dont think he did much wrong. The ocngress were ignorant of the peoples say as well as what the opposition's say.Someone had to make sure they woke up.

THIS HALF-BAKED JOURNALIST OF A SARDAR HAS INSULTED AND BROUGHT A BAD NAME FOR THE NATION BY HIS STUPID ACTION .THE RIGHT PLACE FOR HIM SHOULD BE THE CENTRAL JAIL.

The right thing to do. When a common man is harrassed for the smallest of offences which he may not even have commited while the politicians do all wrongs with total impunity, this symbolic act went a long way to SHOW THE WAY FOR THE REST OF US. WE NEED SOMEONE TO THROW A SHOW AT ADVANI FOR BRINGING DOWN BABRI MASJID, A SHOE FOR NARENDRA MODI FOR THE 2000-4000 MUSLIMS HE KILLED IN GUJRAT, A SHOE FOR RAJ THACKREY, well is there an end to this list.

Some people here are saying that the right way to protest was to write, since he is a journalist. How many people would have paid attention to that? huh! Only the people who suffer know the frustration. The frustration about the wait and justice of 26 years long years. And this is what the result they/we get.Do you people really think the government pays attention to whats written in the newspapers? I fully support the guy.Our justice system has failed us ONCE AGAIN. Truly Pathetic.

Leave aside politics. The act of throwing shoe at home minister is a disgrace and punishable. Ofcourse chiddu handled it well but those who support such an act (esp other political parties) should bear in mind that this would set a precedence to many more to come.
Even though chidambaram is in congress, throwing a shoe at him highly improper. If the journo wanted to take his frustation, then he should have such act (though not shoe, but dialogue) against tytler.
Our home minister, who has served our country and one who has clean image, this is way too much. Wouldn't this act demoralise other honest leards??

It is, other way, to be seen as a healthy way of protest. We have hartals, bandhs and violent protests that always cause physical damages and and other deadly manifold mysteries to the common people.

Let the new generation explore the new way of methods of protests free of violence and hate

I am surprised that everybody is attaching importance to throwing of shoe due to sikh angers against trail of suspected people involved in the riots. I want to know why shoe was not thrown on the people supporting/ having soft cornor for the terriosum in the Punjab where innoccent peoples were being killed. Even Gurdwaras were occupied by the killers which are respected by all and one as pious place world over.
