The BCCI has announced a 15-member squad for the Twenty20 World Cup to be held in England in June. While Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virender Sehwag have been retained as captain and vice-captain respectively, fast bowler R P Singh, left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have made the cut for the squad, with their good performances in the IPL being the deciding factor. Do you think this is a winning combination?

I strongly believe this is a strong team.it contains lot of fresh young legs.by seeing ipl i dont think t20 is a game for youngsters.so experienced players is needed.nut our team has lot of experienced guys.dhoni is a good leader.if he is backed by others strongly then i am sure the cup will be with us.so i think this is a strong team.

More than that I think the main problem this year is, the other countries are well prepared too. Like Australia, SA and NZ are going to give a tough fight this year.

So, leets see. I am not sure about Sharma, Tendulkar is better choice than him(of course he doesnt want to be in the team)

Instead of Sharma, they could have taken someone else this year.
And of course Balaji.. poor chap, they should give him some consideration, he has has lost someyears and has fought back hard and doing well.
He deserves a chance.

A team is good or bad as they perform on the field because there is little scope or space for the captain or the team to scheme and strategize their performance in just 120 balls.

Definitely India will win the T20 world cup. The players are gaining a lot of experience from IPL matches. The young blood in Indian cricket has a lot of potential to show the world that they are capable to beat any team. Good Luck India

20-20 is such that no one can predict what works, it is just the luck of the team on that particualr day. It is like gambling. I dont think the team combination matters a lot. Anyway we always wish and hope this combination clicks.

Yes, Twenty-20 is indeed based on luck. It does not depend much on whose playing or what the quality of the players is. Like we are now seeing in the IPL.

Yeah...This team is pretty good....They can once again lift the world cup provided Dhoni doesn't get himself into any sort of physical problems...Remember there is no backup wicket keeper in the squad...Apart from that most of them are in good form considering the IPL 2 performances... Hope Sehwag and Gambhir finds them back in slot...

Uthhappa is missing, considering T20 is a batsman's game I dont see much of batsmen and allrounders.
There are a lot of specialist bowlers who may or may not be utilized. So the team can be good or bad, depends on how it goes. Seeing that the matches in SA are fairly low scoring, I think the selectors have taken this decision.
Lets see how it workd out.

Any idea who can keep wickets if Dhoni is injured?

Good Team - unfortunately we can't include many as it is limited to 15 Players - FEEL THEY WILL GIVE GOOD FIGHT - TEAM COACH SHOULD NOT BE JOKER LIKE JOHN BUCHANNAN.
