Hi, I am from Dombivli(mumbai). 5 star Coaching classes in mumbai are running in dangerous condition. Premises in Dombivli & kalyan are very small & at a time there r more than 500 students.None off the staff are trained for fire & safety standards & none of the buildings are safe.In many of branches electric room is in pantry near water source(kalyan). If any unfortunate event happen, there is no ascape route for students to run away. Benches are very small for 14-15 years kids, so that max students can be accommodated in class.Class room are jam pack & does not provides water to students(dombivli, kalyan)This coaching classes demands high fees nearly 94,000 only for XI-XII & CET.Parents are promised of 50 to 55 students, but more than 65 students are in one batch for atleast 5 hours daily on small benches this is done in order to reduce operation cost. Class only claim, that teacher are available when needed, but once the chapter is completed ,teacher never come back as company has to pay extra for that lectures. IF IT IS BEEN RUN AS INDUSTRY, SOME STANDARDS ARE NEEDED TO BE SET.(PLZ LIFT UP THE VEIL)

hi rajdeep
dont you think selection of team india should be based on current form of the player and not on thier previous records.. guys like virat kohli, robin utthappa, r ashwin, p ojha, manoj tiwari were far better than yuvraj singh, gautam gambhir yousuf pathan according to thier current form and fitness. . body language of yuvraj and gautam were pathetic!

Dear Rajdeep,
A game of cricket might have been won, but the credibility of IPL and the people is lost. While the investigations and judgements will take their own course, it is time that we, as Indians, and for the love of cricket, demand a fair and transparent administration of this sport. I have a suggestion to end the current crisis and would like to share with you.
In the current scenario, each franchisee must be incorporated as a public limited company where 60% of the shares must be offered to the public via the IPO route and future market cap or valuation be decided by the stock market, which I am sure is quite sensitive to the industry fundamentals.
I can see two huge benefits. One, The administration of the IPL would be done by the existing regulatory and governance mechanisms such as SEBI, ICAI, Dept of Company Affairs etc and second, it converges India's passion (cricket) with its economic engine i.e the stock market and allows people to share wealth while they cheer for their favorite team. Additionally, menace of illegal betting can be reduced as people can derive benefits vis the stock market.
Just think about a situation where you enjoy your favorite sport and make money too.
Best Regards
Deepak

I have recently went through the Passport office website and have come across the Tatkal scheme, under which if the application was made, the passport renewal process would have only taken 7 to 14 days depending on the amount paid in fees. I fail to understand why there should be multiple kinds and schemes of application methods to confuse the public and to allow agents to deceive the public. Why can’t there just be one system? Apparently my son’s application was done in the ordinary scheme. I still fail to understand why this should take more than 3 months to process whereas the Tatkal scheme only takes 7 to 14 days. Is this a way of officially propagating discrimination? You pay more you get better service? Shouldn’t the public be entitled to one standard for all regardless of color, race, creed and economical stature? Earlier, you bribe the officer and you get it done faster. Now it has been made official? Is this Official Corruption?

The Tatkal scheme is necessary for people who have to go abroad urgently but do not hold a passport, Medical treatment is one of them.
All the citizens of India are advised that they should always hold a valid passport even if they have no plans to go abroad.
Under the Tatkal scheme the application is only considered if one can prove to the Passport authorities that the travel is of urgent nature. Just anyone cannot apply for a Passport under the Tatkal scheme.
Further please note that under this scheme the police verification of the applicant is bypassed and the Passport issued under this scheme is only valid for 5 years against 10 years for a normal passport.
Your opinion that the government has designed the Tatkal scheme to make money is absolutely wrong.

For your info:
(A) If an applicant desires to obtain his passport under the Tatkal Scheme, a verification certificate as per the specimen at ANNEXURE %u2018F%u2019 and standard affidavit as Annexure %u201CI%u201D should be submitted along with the TATKAAL fee. The Passport Issuing Authority shall retain the right to verify in writing the authenticity of the Verification Certificate from the official who has issued it. All applicants seeking a passport out of turn under the TATKAAL Scheme are advised to submit their application, documentation, colour photographs with white or light background and fee as specified below. No proof of urgency is required for Out-of-Turn issue of passport. Post Police Verification shall be done in respect of all passports issued under the Tatkaal Scheme.
If you read the above which is given in the website mentioned below : https://passport.gov.in/cpv/TatkalScheme.htm, it is mentioned
"No proof of urgency is required for Out-of-Turn issue of passport."
Anyone can apply under this scheme, as long as you have the money.

Is India the dirtiest country in the world? Does that mean that the Indian people are the dirtiest people in the world? I really don't think that this is a fair statement to make in general. But as a foriegner to has been visiting India for the past 40 years, I should say that there is a lot to back this statement. I found that the cities in India are the dirtiest places there. The Villages seem to be more cleaner and organized. The Villagers seem to a more responsible attitude towards their surroundings. The duty to keep the City clean is the responsibility of the Corporation and the public. The Corporation is mainly responsible for it since the Public is paying it to do this job. It is not a very difficult or complicated jobe to do. Singapore and Malaysia were much dirtier in the 50s' and 60s' than India was. How was it that they could become so clean and India so dirty? They were very committed to this action, to clean the country. They used the Media to educate and inform the Public of clenaliness and how it prevents deseases. Both the TV and news media. The Minitry of Information and Broadcasting were involved. Rememeber "Cleanliness is Next to Godliness".

The Police in India is one of the most corrupt and indisiplined in the world. The reason for this is that they have their Godfathers in Politicians who let them bend and break the law of the land. What needs to be done is the separation of law and politics. It is only logical that those who uphold and enforce the law should be under the jurisdiction of the guardians and makers of the law. So in short, the Police should come under the judiciary. Only than the law will be equal for everyone.
Your response???

The police is corrupt because the society is corrupt, the police force has not landed from mars and nor the politicians, they all are a part of our society, and the politicians have been voted to power by the citizens of the country.
If the public decides to choose a corrupt leaders to run the country then they deserve it and there is no cause for complaint.
Ask any youth what he would like to become? you will get the standard answer-- Doctor, Engineer, Businessman, Information Technology etc etc, Nobody will tell you that there ambition is to join politics and run the country??
As a result, all these vital chairs have been taken over by corrupt politicians, because, no one is ready to join politics as a career.
Despite this, thank god that we have very good leaders holding all the key portfolios in the ministry of our country and they are doing a wonderful job.

Thanks Rajanadvani for your reply. In your reply you said that "join politics as a career". Well that is exactly what it is. And and any career, there are some good and some bad people in that job, like doctors and engineers. Well Politics is not supposed to be a career. It is representation of society and the common man. Is the common man being represented by the politicians? Yes the, the politicians who are "running" the country now are doing a good job. But for whom? Are they doing a good job for the few or for the many? I do think that the politics and leadership has become so corrupt that it has become acceptable to certain extent. We don't have to go far. See if your local politician has fulfilled his obligation to your neighborhood. See the percentage of people benefiting from him. Is it the majority or a minority? Don't blame the people for their choice. What choice do they have? People should get back representative leadership. Leaders who represent them and lead them out of the squalor and corruption they are living in. And the Police should be there to protect the people and the rights of the people and not suppress and subjugate them for the politicians.

Hi Rajdeep,
I have a simple question to you.....your channel and other media use to blame if some other sports are neglected in this country.Or if sports minister or some authority are unable to identfy any player. That time you used to ask a lot of question to the authority.....but will you please tell us what cnn ibn is doing for other sports as a responsible media channel.........where you have special programme for cricket everyday..........you have cricketnext.com......why you don't have anything for other sports...........don't you think we all are standing at a single platform and critcising each other.

Hi Rajdeep,
With so much corruption prevelent in India today how do you think that we can achieve the target of being a Superpower. From a peon to the highest officer, from a party worker to the Member of Parliament, from a hawaldar to the commisioner of police, from a clerk to the Judge, everyone is corrupt. Infact India is now synonymous with corruption that we cannot think of even getting an electric connection or phone line or bed in hospital without having to pay a bribe.
What Is the way out of this.
You are currently running a special coverage on water crisis but dont you think the main reason for water shortage is again corruption. How can big water parks get so much water when there is not engough for poor to drink? i'm sure they pay the officals a hefty amount.
Instead of running a series on anything else i think now is the time to start a campaign against Corruption.

Dear Rajdeep,
Now that the world is moving forward rapidly, dont you think that we should be talking about professionalism in politics too.Now the court has asked what a politician is doing in a sports council. So why not having professionals at the top level too.I mean that only an retired army genaral can be a defense minister, only a retired IPS officer as home minister,a doctor in Community Medicine as health minister, only former Ambassadors as President of our country,IFS as foreign minister,IAS as prime minister and so on.Because only these people know how to administer professionally. The present politicians are illiterates( Rabri Devi for example) by all aspects, intention is only money.I know its not easy, but cant you highlight this issue in you channel so that an awareness is created in the public.Dont you think my question is genuine?
