

19 child labourers rescued
PTI | 10:05 PM,May 10,2011New Delhi, May 10 (PTI) Nineteen child labourers, most of them trafficked from Bihar and West Bengal, were today rescued from zari units and garages in south Delhi."Nineteen child labourers were rescued from Garhi Lajpat Nagar in south Delhi. Most of them were working in zari units and garages and are in a very bad condition," Rakesh Senger, national secretary of child rights NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) said. BBA workers took part in the rescue operation by the area task force, Labour department officials and police. PTI SDG
