

Andhra CM Rosaiah''s health improving
PTI | 10:09 PM,Sep 02,2010Hyderabad, Sept 2 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah who has been down with viral fever showed marked improvement today, state Principal Secretary (Health) P V Ramesh said. Briefing newsmen about the Chief Minister's health here , Ramesh said there was a marked improvement in Rosaiah's condition today. "The team of doctors from NIMS monitored the Chief Minister's health condition three times today and found marked improvement. However, he has been advised to take rest tomorrow as well," Ramesh said. Rosaiah, who was confined to his residence yesterday and most part of today, went to the state Congress headquarters in the evening to take part in late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's first death anniversary programme. But the state Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been put off, official sources said. The Chief Minister had to miss the day-long tour of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Chittoor district yesterday because of viral fever. Doctors who conducted various tests on Rosaiah confirmed that he tested negative for dengue, chikungunya and swine flu.
