

Another chilly day for Delhi, temperatures below normal
PTI | 07:02 PM,Feb 10,2012New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Intense heat kept Delhiites indoors on Sunday with the mercury nearing the 40 degree mark after days of pleasant and comfortable weather. The maximum temperature, which was recorded at 39.6 degrees Celsius, was one degree above normal for this time of the season, the Met office said. It was a hot day for Delhiites, who have been witnessing pleasant weather for the past few days, in what could be the most comfortable summer during the month of April in the last couple of years. The sun shone bright through the day confining people indoors on the weekend. Today's minimum was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the season. Humidity was recorded between 44 per cent and 22 per cent, the MeT office said. The Weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions for tomorrow as well with the maximum and minimum to be 40 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
