PTI | 10:09 PM,Sep 01,2010Car lifter gang busted Shillong, Sept 1 (PTI) Three car lifters, reportedly involved in several cases across the country, have been arrested in in Shillong and Silchar in Assam.Eighteen year old I A Kumzuk, hailing from Changki in Mukokchung district of Nagaland was arrested in Shillong by the Meghalaya police after he stole an Assam-registered car from a locality here, police sources said.Two others, Ajay Chauhan and Mrinal Lashkar, were caught in Silchar from a hotel yesterday, Cachar Superintendent of Police Prashanta Bhuyan said over phone today.The two were today brought here for interrogation.
