Depomed diabetes drug gets another generic threat
Reuters | 05:32 PM,Jun 21,2011REUTERS - Depomed Inc filed a patent suit against Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in response to the Indian company's filing of a marketing application with U.S. health regulators for a copycat version of Depomed's diabetes drug Glumetza. In May, the specialty pharmaceutical company won a lawsuit against India's Lupin Ltd, which had also filed a marketing application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for generic versions of Glumetza.
